✨ NEW IN 2.85 — MASSIVE COMBAT OVERHAUL

This update completely overhauls combat flow and a UNIVERSAL sneak/crouch ability system. I separated clunky shared cooldowns, fixed broken ultimate trackers, and added massive new ability expansions across every technique.

⚔️ NEW ABILITIES & REWORKS 2.85

🔀 BOOGIE WOOGIE (Complete Overhaul)
Sneak to cycle | Right-click to cast

• 530,000 IQ CPU (New Passive) — Landing a Target Swap instantly grants Speed II + Strength II + Resistance I for 2 seconds

• Target Swap (Reworked) — Cooldown reduced to 1 second. Swapped enemies suffer 1s of Slowness + Blindness

• Deceptive Clap (New) — 2-second cooldown fake-out. Triggers sound and VFX but no teleport. Enemies bracing for the swap suffer Slowness + Weakness

• Ultimate — Vibraslap Resonance (Reworked) — 15-second window where every melee hit chain-swaps the victim with a random nearby entity, triggering bonus kinetic damage + Slowness

🗡️ YUTA'S KATANA (Expanded Arsenal)
Sneak to cycle | Right-click to cast

• Cursed Energy Slash — Wide sweeping pink energy slash in a cone in front of you

• Cursed Energy Explosion — Plant the sword and release a dense expanding sphere of pink energy

• The Finisher (Combo) — Cast Slash, then switch and cast Explosion within 3 seconds for a hyper-destructive energy beam

• Cursed Energy Wave (New) — Launch a massive 15-block crescent of cursed energy forward, knocking back everything in its path (5s cd)

• Cursed Energy Eruption (New) — Slam the ground to fire a point-blank radial pillar of pink energy, launching enemies into the air for aerial combos (6s cd)

👊 DIVERGENT FIST (Reworked)
Sneak to cycle | Right-click to cast

• Divergent Strike (Reworked) — Instantly executes a forward dash. 5 ticks later a massive cone of cursed energy erupts in front of you

• Cooldown Buffed — Reduced from 32 seconds → 5 seconds

• Ultimate (2 new ult moves) — Deal 100 damage to unlock Black Flash and Divergent Eruption with massive damage

📈 BUFFS & COOLDOWN FIXES

🗣️ CURSED SPEECH

• Independent Timers — Shared 60-second lockout removed. Each word runs its own cooldown: Get Crushed (5s) - Don't Move (4s)

• Damage Buffed — Base damages increased across the board (e.g. Blast Away: 15 → 18 damage)

🩸 BLOOD MANIPULATION

• Independent Timers — Shared 50-second cooldown removed. Each ability is now independent: Piercing Blood (10s) - Supernova (12s) - Blood Edge (8s) - Slicing Exorcism (15s)

• Piercing Blood (Nerfed) — Beam duration reduced 15s → 5s

• Passive Aura (New) — Replaced idle particles with an animated pulsating red-and-white DNA double helix rotating around the player

⚖️ GLOBAL DAMAGE REBALANCE

• Fast attacks — ~10 damage

• Medium sweeps — ~16 damage

• Heavy finishers — ~22 damage

• Ultimates — intentionally untouched

🛠️ BUG FIXES 2.85

• Ultimate Unlock Logic — Replaced flawed auto-unlock timer with a true Damage Tracker. Deal 100 base damage to unlock Black Flash or Vibraslap Resonance

• Heavenly Restriction — Skeleton kill progress now saves on logout. Added clean chat milestones at 25%, 50%, 75% and a red-aura visual explosion on unlock

• Inverted Spear of Heaven — Now correctly nullifies all 9 techniques (was only blocking 3)

• Stat Stacking — Split Soul Katana and Inverted Spear now properly stack with Heavenly Restriction stats instead of overriding them

• Mechamaru Glitch — Patched bug where kill-requirement reduction was being applied to every player on the server

• Path Bugs — Every path has been cleaned up and rid of bugs and errors with techniques and passive techniques; it should unlock correctly no matter what path you are on.

• Cursed Womb Path bug — Patched the bug where the cursed womb item doesn't work, and the cursed womb path now gives the correct techniques at grade 1.

Three new techniques were added:

⚡ CURSED ENERGY DISCHARGE (Ryu Ishigori)
Raw firepower with an Overheat System. Hit 100% heat and you're locked out of all abilities. Use Restyle to cool down 60% of your heat early, or use it at 100% to fully reset at the cost of a 4-second stun.

Sneak to cycle | Right-click to cast

• Granite Blast — Massive continuous laser beam that sweeps the battlefield

• Cursed Energy Burst — Shockwave sphere around you, blowing back enemies

• Output Overdrive — Temporarily boost your damage and capabilities

• Restyle — Cool down 60% heat safely, or reset from 100% for a 4-second freeze

☁️ SKY MANIPULATION (Takako Uro)
Passive — Spatial Distortion: 15% chance to completely negate incoming damage. You take 0 damage.

• Thin Ice Breaker — Shatter space for unblockable AoE damage

• Thin Ice Missile — Fire shattered space as a missile that explodes on impact

• Sky Warp (Parry) — Negate any melee hit or projectile, then fire a massive spatial beam in the direction you're looking

⚡ CURSED TECHNIQUE — PROJECTION SORCERY
Activate to spawn 24 frames in a line. Run through all within 3 seconds. Fail and get Frame Frozen for 3 seconds.

Stack Bonuses:

• 1+ Stacks → Speed II + Jump Boost I (passive)

• 2+ Stacks → Frame Freeze on hit (applies Weakness III if broken early)

• 3+ Stacks → Knockback 3 passive + Projection Combo unlocked

• 5+ Stacks → Projection Juggle unlocked

• 10+ Stacks → Frame Helper + Speed IV upgrade

Abilities (Sneak to cycle | Right-click to use):

• Projection Combo (3+ stacks) — Dash through a framed enemy, dealing heavy damage and shattering their frame

• Projection Juggle (5+ stacks) — Dash through, teleport to their side, slice again in a cross (+) shape in 0.5 seconds

• Frame Helper (10+ stacks) — Bigger frame hitboxes + one auto-save per sequence (at 1 second remaining, teleport back and reset the timer)

Duration: 6 min | Cooldown: 3 min
