What's new

Sneakbeats — BGM Player

The music of Minecraft is too good to stay silent. This addon lets you play all 91 vanilla music tracks anytime, anywhere — controlled entirely by sneak gestures. No items to carry, no menus to open, no impact on your inventory or gameplay. It's simply invisible until you call it.

Controls

Gesture Action
Sneak ×2 (quick double-tap) Start music / Skip to next track
Sneak ×3 Stop music
Sneak + Jump Jump 10 tracks ahead

Works with keyboard, controller, and touch — sneak is sneak on every device.

Now Playing display

While music plays, the current track title and artist are shown on screen, e.g. ♪ Sweden — C418 [7/91].

Features

  • All 91 vanilla tracks — the complete soundtrack: C418, Lena Raine, Kumi Tanioka, Aaron Cherof, Samuel Åberg, Amos Roddy, Hyper Potions, and fingerspit
  • Curated playlist order — flows from menu themes through overworld, creative, caves, underwater, the Nether, the End, and every music disc
  • Auto-advance — tracks play continuously like a real music player
  • Zero footprint — no items, no UI, no entities, no lag. Just music
  • Tiny file size — contains no audio files; it plays the music already inside your game
  • No experimental toggles — runs on stable APIs

Install

  1. Download the .mcaddon and open it (Minecraft imports it automatically)
  2. In your world settings, activate BGM Player under Behavior Packs (the resource pack links automatically)
  3. Enter your world and double-sneak!

Tips

  • Want only your chosen track, with no random vanilla music interrupting? This addon plays through the game's music channel, so it naturally replaces the ambient music queue.
  • If you hear nothing, check that the Music volume slider in Audio settings is up.

Notes

  • This addon contains no music files. All tracks are the vanilla music already shipped with Minecraft, and all music rights belong to Mojang and the original composers.
  • Console players can't install addons directly, but can enjoy this addon by joining a world or Realm that has it applied.
