Sneak Mend v1.0.8

This update focuses on improving the core repair logic, making XP usage more balanced, and polishing the addon for a smoother survival experience.

New / Improved

  •     Sneak + Use activation: Sneak Mend now requires both sneaking and holding the use action to repair your tool.
  •
  •     Better control: Sneaking alone no longer starts the repair process.
  •
  •     Emergency repair design: The addon is now better suited for situations where your tool is almost broken and you only want to repair it enough to continue safely.
  •
  •     Improved actionbar feedback: The repair message now shows XP usage and durability gain more clearly.

XP Balance Changes

  •     XP usage has been rebalanced to feel safer and less aggressive.
  •
  •     The addon no longer drains large amounts of XP at once.
  •
  •     Each repair pulse now consumes a small, controlled amount of XP.
  •
  •     Repairing still feels fast, but it should no longer feel like an entire XP level disappears instantly.

Bug Fixes

  •     Fixed an issue where repairing could continue even after releasing the use action.
  •
  •     Fixed an issue where sneak alone could start repairing without the intended hold/use input.
  •
  •     Fixed misleading XP feedback where the actionbar showed a small XP cost while the player could lose much more XP than expected.
  •
  •     Fixed XP handling to avoid scary or confusing level drops during repair.

Gameplay Balance

  •     Repair speed remains useful and satisfying for survival gameplay.
  •
  •     XP cost is now more controlled and beginner-friendly.
  •
  •     The addon is designed for quick manual repairs, not free full repairs.

Final Notes

Sneak Mend is meant to be a simple, lightweight, and survival-friendly way to repair Mending tools manually using XP.   This version should feel more polished, fair, and comfortable to use in normal gameplay.
