Simple Delights (Unofficial)
A compatibility and food expansion add-on for Simple Farming and Farmer’s Delight on Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Also adds a handful of new foods for Simple Farming
Requires Minecraft Version 26.3+

For proper compatibility, use the following order from top to bottom for both Behavior Packs and Resource Packs:
1. Farmer’s Delight Bedrock
2. Simple Delights
3. Simple Farming (Unofficial)
About This Port
This is an unofficial Bedrock port/adaptation of Simple Delights by JesterBlue, originally created for Minecraft: Java Edition.
Original Mod: Simple Delights
Original Creator: JesterBlue
The original mod was released under the MIT License, which permits adaptation and redistribution with attribution. Special thanks to JesterBlue for creating the original mod, and to Moaswies for the Bedrock version of Farmer’s Delight that this addon integrates with.
What Simple Delights Does
Simple Delights is designed to make Simple Farming and Farmer’s Delight feel like parts of the same cooking system.
It adds:
- 24 new foods
- Cooking Pot recipes
- Cutting Board recipes
- expanded ingredient compatibility
- cross-addon recipe substitutions
- Simple Farming ingredient support in Farmer’s Delight recipes
- a dedicated Simple Delights section inside the existing Simple Farming guidebook
The goal is to avoid having two separate sets of ingredients that cannot interact with each other.
Where two ingredients represent the same general food, Simple Delights allows them to be used interchangeably where appropriate.
For example:
Simple Farming Tomato can be used in compatible Farmer’s Delight tomato recipes.
Simple Farming Onion can be used in Farmer’s Delight onion recipes.
Simple Farming Rice can be used in compatible Farmer’s Delight rice dishes.
Simple Farming Lettuce can substitute for cabbage in appropriate recipes.
Simple Farming Pasta and Noodles can be used in compatible Farmer’s Delight pasta dishes.
Simple Farming bacon, cooked eggs, and chicken wings are also integrated into compatible Farmer’s Delight recipes.
Compatibility is additive. Farmer’s Delight ingredients still work normally.
Ingredients are also kept logically distinct. A tomato, for example, will not substitute for tomato sauce.

Many Simple Delights dishes are prepared using the Farmer’s Delight Cooking Pot.
Simple Delights also expands Farmer’s Delight Cooking Pot recipes to recognize appropriate Simple Farming ingredients.
This allows you to mix ingredients from both addons within the same cooking system instead of maintaining separate ingredient sets.
Examples include compatibility for:

- Onions
- Rice
- Lettuce / Cabbage
- Pasta / Noodles
- Cooked Eggs
- Bacon / Pork
- Chicken Wings / Chicken
Cutting Board
Simple Farming ingredients also receive additional support for the Farmer’s Delight Cutting Board.
Examples include:
- Squash → Squash Noodles
- Cheese Wheel → Cheese Slices
- Chicken processing that also provides Simple Farming Raw Chicken Wings
Compatible Simple Farming ingredients also display properly while placed on the Cutting Board.
Guidbook Integration
Simple Delights does not add another guidebook item.
Instead, installing Simple Delights expands the existing Simple Farming Guidebook with a dedicated Simple Delights section.
Each new food entry includes information such as:
- Ingredients
- Cooking method
- Hunger restored
- Saturation
- Stack size
- Eating time
- Cooking time
- Returned containers
- Special uses and compatibility notes
The guidebook uses Minecraft’s normal language setting.
