Shadowbound Tools

Shadowbound Tools is a Minecraft Bedrock utility add-on centered on magical storage, inventory management, high-capacity processing, and furnace automation.

Build a player-bound storage network, carry portable bags, collect items automatically, maintain custom hotbar loadouts, process huge quantities through the Shadow Forge, and upgrade vanilla furnaces with renewable heat and accelerated processing.

Features

Shadowbind Storage Network

The Shadowbind Chest provides access to a personal storage network tied to each player.

• Access the same stored items from any placed Shadowbind Chest.
• Identical items are pooled into combined totals rather than separated into ordinary stacks.
• Stored equipment preserves supported names, lore, enchantments, durability, and other item data.
• Browse, search, inspect, deposit, and withdraw stored materials.
• Withdraw preset stack amounts or enter a custom quantity.
• Sneak-interact with a placed Shadowbind Chest to deposit the entire held stack.
• Storage capacity is based on unique item entries rather than total item quantity.
• Tier I through Tier VIII add sixteen storage entries per tier.
• Tier X removes the artificial entry limit.

Each player has their own independent Shadowbind inventory.

Shadowbound Bag

The Shadowbound Bag is a portable container with fifty-four storage positions.

• Every Bag has its own contents.
• Bags retain their contents when transferred between players.
• Items can be deposited and withdrawn through the Bag menu.
• Supported complex items retain their stored data.
• Bags cannot be placed inside other Bags or deposited into Shadowbind storage.
• Shadowbound storage tools cannot be nested.

Shadowbound Collector

The Shadowbound Collector gathers nearby drops, clears selected inventory items, and transfers materials into Shadowbind storage.

Five configurable profiles are included:

• General
• Mining
• Building
• Cleanup
• Custom

Each profile can configure:

• Nearby drops, player inventory, or both as the source.
• Shadowbind storage or the player inventory as the destination.
• Collection ranges of 4, 8, 16, or 24 blocks.
• All items, blocks only, existing Shadowbind entries, whitelist, or blacklist filtering.
• Protection for hotbar items.
• Protection for named items.
• Protection for enchanted items.
• Protection for damaged equipment.
• Protection for items containing lore.

Normal use immediately runs the active profile. Sneak-use opens the configuration menu.

Shadowbound Restocker

The Shadowbound Restocker retrieves supplies from Shadowbind storage and places them directly into configured hotbar slots.

Three independent loadouts are available:

• Mining
• Building
• Combat

Every hotbar position can be assigned an item, target quantity, and restocking mode.

• Maintain: Tops the stack back up toward its configured target.
• When Empty: Replaces the item after the hotbar slot becomes empty.
• Manual Only: Restocks only when the Restocker is activated manually or the loadout is selected.

Additional Restocker features include:

• Optional automatic restocking for each loadout.
• Individual configuration for all nine hotbar positions.
• Exact matching for supported named, enchanted, and customized items.
• Replacement tools are taken from Shadowbind storage without repairing or altering them.
• Occupied slots containing a different item are never overwritten.
• The Restocker can remain anywhere in the player’s inventory while operating.

Normal use performs an immediate restocking pass. Sneak-use opens the loadout menu.

Shadow Forge

The Shadow Forge is a high-capacity processing block for supported ores, building materials, and other non-food furnace recipes.

• Processes one operation every 2.5 seconds.
• Operates at four times normal furnace speed.
• Stores input and output as pooled totals rather than ordinary 64-item stacks.
• Input and output can hold quantities far beyond normal stack limits.
• Preserves its input, output, Fuel Core, and processing state.
• Sneak-interact while holding a supported material to deposit the entire stack.
• Breaking the Forge releases its stored materials in valid item stacks.
• Food recipes are handled by smokers and the furnace utility blocks instead.

Normal interaction opens the Shadow Forge menu.

Shadow Fuel Core

The Shadow Fuel Core is a reusable fuel container made for the Shadow Forge.

• Holds up to 200 charge.
• Consumes one charge for every completed Forge operation.
• Can be refilled repeatedly rather than being destroyed.
• Accepts several ordinary fuel types at improved charge values.

Example fuel values include:

• Stick: 1 charge
• Wooden logs, wood, and planks: 3 charge
• Coal or charcoal: 16 charge
• Blaze rod: 24 charge
• Dried kelp block: 40 charge
• Coal block: 160 charge
• Lava bucket: 200 charge

Lava buckets return an empty bucket after charging the Core.

Shadow Accelerator

The Shadow Accelerator upgrades an adjacent vanilla furnace, smoker, or blast furnace.

• Performs additional supported operations at approximately one item per second.
• Works through the vanilla machine’s normal inventory and interface.
• Preserves hopper and other vanilla automation access.
• Does not consume additional fuel.
• Does not alter the machine’s ordinary fuel timer.
• Multiple Accelerators touching the same machine do not stack.
• Supports vanilla furnace, smoker, and blast-furnace recipes.
• Can operate alongside Superheated Obsidian.

Operations completed by the Accelerator do not provide normal furnace experience. Operations completed naturally by the vanilla machine still behave normally.

Recipes added by unknown third-party behavior packs continue processing at their machine’s normal speed unless compatibility is added.

Superheated Obsidian

Superheated Obsidian provides renewable heat to adjacent furnaces, smokers, and blast furnaces.

• Supplies fuel whenever an adjacent machine has input and an empty fuel slot.
• Allows supported machines to operate indefinitely without ordinary fuel.
• Never replaces coal, Fuel Cores, lava buckets, or other fuel already placed by the player.
• Uses the vanilla machine’s normal recipe checks, interface, inventory, and processing behavior.
• Stops supplying heat when the Superheated Obsidian is removed.
• Can power several touching furnace-family blocks at once.
• Can be combined with a Shadow Accelerator for renewable high-speed processing.

The internal heat item cannot be collected or retained by players.

Controls

Shadowbind Chest

• Normal interaction: Open personal Shadowbind storage.
• Sneak-interact while holding an eligible item: Deposit the held stack.

Shadowbound Bag

• Use while held: Open the Bag.

Shadowbound Collector

• Normal use: Run the active Collector profile.
• Sneak-use: Open Collector configuration.

Shadowbound Restocker

• Normal use: Run the active Restocker loadout.
• Sneak-use: Open Restocker configuration.

Shadow Forge

• Normal interaction: Open the Forge.
• Sneak-interact with a supported input: Deposit the held stack.

Shadow Accelerator

• Place directly beside a furnace, smoker, or blast furnace.
• No further interaction is required.

Superheated Obsidian

• Place directly beside a furnace, smoker, or blast furnace.
• No further interaction is required.

Survival Crafting

All player-facing Shadowbound tools, storage tiers, processing blocks, and furnace upgrades have survival crafting recipes.

Recipes can be viewed through the Minecraft recipe book after installing the add-on.

Installation

1. Download the .mcaddon file.
2. Open the file with Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
3. Wait for both packs to import.
4. Activate the Shadowbound Tools Behavior Pack on the world.
5. Confirm that the linked Resource Pack is also active.
6. When updating an existing world, fully close and restart Minecraft after importing the new version.

Existing Shadowbind storage, chest tiers, Bags, Collector profiles, Restocker loadouts, Shadow Forges, and Fuel Cores are retained when updating through compatible releases.

• Designed for survival and multiplayer worlds.
• Unknown furnace recipes introduced by other behavior packs may require compatibility support for Shadow Forge or Accelerator processing.
