Deep beneath the world, in the crushing dark of the Ancient City, in the sealed vaults of the Trial Chambers, and among the shattered towers of the End — nine fragments of a forgotten power wait to be found.

Shadow Remnants isn't just another gear addon. Each of the 9 items — four armor pieces and five tools — exists only once per world. The moment one is found in a chest, it vanishes from every other loot pool on the server, forever. There is no crafting recipe. No smithing upgrade. No second copy waiting in the next chest. If someone else finds it first, it's gone.

Built for Lifesteal SMP servers and any world where power should be earned, feared, and fought over.

🌑 What Makes Shadow Remnants Different

One-of-a-Kind Loot

Every piece spawns naturally with a small chance inside chests in the Ancient City, Trial Chambers, and End City. Once claimed, that exact item is permanently removed from the loot pool everywhere else in the world — tracked persistently, even across server restarts. Nine relics. One world. Whoever finds them first, keeps them.

Immune to Destruction

Shadow gear doesn't burn in fire or lava, and it never despawns on the ground — no matter how long it's left behind. Lose it in battle, and it's still out there waiting. Whoever picks it up next inherits its power.

Beyond Netherite

Every piece — armor and tools alike — hits twice as hard and blocks twice as much damage as netherite, with double the durability to match.

Cannot Be Repaired... By Anyone But Itself

No anvil, no repair material, no exceptions — Shadow gear can never be fixed at a smithing table or anvil. Instead, it slowly mends itself over time, regenerating durability on its own as long as you keep using it. It's built to outlast everything except neglect.

Powers That Reshape the Battlefield

Each piece grants its own effect the instant you put it on — no full set required:

🪖 Shadow Helmet — Strength & Fire Resistance

🛡️ Shadow Chestplate — Health Boost & powerful Absorption

👖 Shadow Leggings — Night Vision & Invisibility

👢 Shadow Boots — Speed & recurring Instant Health

Wear the full set, and you unlock an additional bonus: Water Breathing, turning you into a threat on land, underground, and beneath the waves.

Armed for War

The Shadow Sword and Shadow Pickaxe grant bonus combat and mining power the moment they're in your hand — on top of already devastating base damage. The Axe, Shovel, and Hoe round out the set with the same overwhelming strength and durability, built to work as hard as they hit.

Wear It With Pride

Shadow gear carries a permanent enchanted glow — earned, not cast — and can still be trimmed at the smithing table like any other armor, so you can make your legendary gear unmistakably your own.

💀 A Warning to Server Owners

This isn't gear for casual survival worlds. A player wearing a full set of Shadow armor is nearly unkillable, hits like a freight train, and cannot be worn down by attrition. On a Lifesteal server, one player finding all nine pieces could tip the entire balance of power — permanently.

That's the point.

📦 Installation

Download the .mcaddon file

Open it with Minecraft Bedrock installed — it will import automatically

Activate both the Shadow Remnants [BP] and Shadow Remnants [RP] packs in your world settings

Make sure Holiday Creator Features / experimental toggles required by your version are enabled if prompted

Requires a recent Bedrock version. This addon uses modern item components and the Scripting API — older versions are not supported.

⚠️ Known Issues

The armor pieces are currently invisible when worn on the player model due to a rendering issue under investigation — the item stats, effects, and inventory icons all function correctly. Some players have taken to treating this as an unintended stealth feature. A fix is planned for a future update.
