Description
SCP-2086
A massive, three-stage hostile mob inspired by the SCP Foundation's SCP-2086, now with natural world spawning so you can actually run into it during normal survival play instead of only via spawn egg.
What makes it dangerous
SCP-2086 doesn't come at you swinging right away — it escalates the longer a fight (or a standoff) goes on:
Dormant / Approach: It won't attack outright, but get within arm's reach and it inflicts Wither + Slowness on contact. Best to keep your distance until you're ready.
Aggressive: The instant it takes damage, it snaps into a real melee attacker — faster, and it will not stop closing the distance.
Airborne: Once it's down to half health, it takes to the air, moves roughly twice as fast, and keeps attacking while flying. This is the phase where fights get genuinely dangerous.
"Death": At 0 HP it doesn't just despawn — it freezes in place mid–death animation and stays in the world, matching how the pack's other bosses handle death.
With 750 HP, 12 armor, and 6 damage per hit before it even starts flying, this is built as a late-game encounter, not a starter mob.
New: it's part of survival now
Previously SCP-2086 only existed via /summon or its Creative spawn egg. This release adds:
Natural spawning — it can now appear on its own, rarely, in dark places both underground and on the surface (low spawn weight, so it stays a rare "oh no" moment rather than a common nuisance).
Chest loot — its spawn egg has a small chance to show up in Ruined Portal chests, giving you a second, exploration-based way to encounter it.
Features
Three-phase escalation (dormant → aggressive → flying) driven entirely by scripting, reacting live to damage taken and current health
Custom flight AI once airborne, with its own wander/attack behavior
Full custom animation set (normal move, attack move, fly, stop, death) with a matching animation state controller
Full custom sound set (normal move, attack move, fly, stop, death)
"Doesn't really die" freeze mechanic on death instead of despawning
Natural spawn rules + chest loot integration
Same entity ID as before (act:scp2086) — safe to drop into an existing world that already had it
Installation
Download the .mcaddon file and open it with Minecraft (Bedrock) installed.
Enable both the behavior pack and resource pack on your world.
Explore — it can now spawn on its own in dark areas, or you can /summon act:scp2086 / find its egg in a Ruined Portal chest.
Requirements
Minecraft: Bedrock Edition 1.21.90 or newer
Uses the stable @minecraft/server Script API — no experimental toggles required
