Santa's Supply Drops - Happy Holidays

Bring the holiday spirit to your Realm or Server and worlds with Santa's Supply Drops! This addon adds a fully automated, exciting Christmas event that drops presents from the sky. Whether you have 1 player or 100, everyone gets a chance to get lucky (or unlucky!).

This addon is compatible with almost any other addon.

How It Works

Every 30 Minutes (configurable), the event begins!

1. The Announcement: A global chat message and sounds alert all players that Santa is coming.
2. The Drop: A festive Shulker Box (Red, Green, White, Blue, or Pink) spawns high in the sky near players.
3. The Animation: The crate slowly floats down with snowflake particles.
4. The Landing: When it hits the ground—BOOM! It locks in place with an explosion particle.

Features & Loot

🎁 The "Nice" List (God Loot)

If you are lucky, the crate will be filled with high-tier rewards.

• Santa's Wings: (Elytra) - Very Rare!
• Christmas Star: (Beacon)
• North Pole Fork: (Trident)
• Valuables: Diamonds, Netherite, Enchanted Golden Apples, and Emeralds.
• Treats: Cookies, Pumpkin Pie, and Cake.

🎅 The "Naughty" List (Prank Loot)

Not everyone gets a good gift… Sometimes Santa gives you junk!

• Lump of Coal
• Reindeer Food (Rotten Flesh)
• Dead Christmas Tree (Dead Bush)
• Wet Socks (Kelp)
• Yucky Potato (Poisonous Potato)

🌍 Multiplayer Friendly

• Smart Spawning: Detects where players are. If players are spread out far apart, multiple drops will spawn globally so everyone gets one.
• Anti-Clumping: If 5 players are standing at Spawn, only one crate will drop for them to fight over!

Admin Configuration

(Admins need the tag admin applied via /tag)

You can fully customize the event in-game using the Admin Menu. How to open: Hold a Stick and right-click (use item).

• Configure Settings:
  • Time Interval: Change how often drops happen (e.g., every 5 mins or 2 hours).
  • Drop Radius: Change how far away the crates spawn from players.
  • Multi-Drop: Toggle whether multiple crates should spawn for players who are far apart.
• Force Start Event: Instantly summon a supply drop for everyone online (great for manual events!).

⚠️ Important Requirements & Realms Setup

For this massive addon to function without errors, you MUST enable Cheats and the following experimental world setting:

• Beta APIs

Playing on a Server or Realm?
Because Bedrock does not allow direct activation of script experiments on active Realms, follow this specific deployment process:

1. Create a new world (or download your current active Realm) to your local device.
2. Navigate to World Settings, and toggle on Cheats and Beta APIs.
3. Activate the Addon Behavior Pack and Resource Pack under your world settings.
4. Upload this newly configured world file directly back to replace your active Realm slot!
