What's new

# Salt & Ships v1.0.2

## Critical Fix
- Fixed a startup error that could shut down every scripted part of the add-on at once. When it triggered, custom blocks failed to load, their recipes went missing, and ship systems, crew, cannons and menus simply did nothing. If v1.0.1 felt broken on load, this was why.

## Economy
- The coin economy has been fully reworked. Payouts and prices were rescaled together, so early exploration finally pays its way and a single looted tower no longer bankrolls the entire game.
- Sinking a pirate ship now pays a bounty, scaled to its class from the Cutter up to the Man o' War, and shared with your crew the same way the Ghost Ship's hoard already was. Pirate wrecks still leave salvage behind.
- The Seller now restocks once per Minecraft day. Before, his stock ran out permanently: spend his two bottles of rum and he would never sell rum again.
- The Seller now buys your finds, with a daily limit on each: shark teeth, nautilus shells, prismarine crystals, diamonds and turtle scutes. Shark teeth finally have a buyer.
- Reworked his prices across the board. The Heart of the Sea and the Trident were being sold for a fraction of what it costs to go find them; they are now a genuine shortcut instead of a giveaway.
- Emerald trading has been removed in both directions. The coin belongs to the sea and the emerald to the mainland, so the two economies now connect through goods rather than currency.
- The recipe that minted coins from gold has been removed.
- Corsair wages, hiring costs, dye costs and the Corsair Rig all cost far fewer coins now, in line with the new scale.

## Melee Combat
- New first person cutlass swings, and the combo now keeps pace with them: each strike plays in full and returns to your grip instead of freezing at the end of the animation.
- Parry clashes now spark twice as fast. The flash lands while the blades are actually crossing, so a clash feels like an impact instead of a delayed report.

## Bosses
- The Barnacle Dreadnought's first phase now depends on where you strike. Hit the pilot for full damage; the hull soaks most of it. Bringing the pilot down is now a target you can actually work toward, and it stacks with the existing anchor swing window, so there are two openings instead of one.

## Creatures
- The Marooned was missing its left arm and left leg. Both are back.
- The Marooned can now reach you in melee. It could barely land a hit before, even standing right next to you.
- Seagulls no longer get stuck floating in the water forever, and they now glide higher over open sea while still landing on the beach.

## World Generation
- Blackbeard's Tower, the Dreadnought Lair, the Pirate Hideout and the Masked Temple are now rarer and keep their distance from each other. Hideouts and temples previously had no spacing at all and could generate on top of one another.

## Ships & Firearms
- Fixed the camera framing on the Barrels upgrade cutscene, and the matching view at the Shipwright's Table. Both now look at the barrel stack instead of past it.
- Fixed an error in the Musket's aiming animation.
