Tired of Creepers destroying your house, farms or Redstone builds?
Creeper Safe Blocks prevents Creeper explosions from destroying blocks while keeping the explosion itself dangerous.
Creepers can still:
- 💥 Explode normally
- ❤️ Damage players
- 🐾 Damage nearby entities
But your blocks stay intact.

🛡️ How Does It Work?
Normally, when a Creeper explodes it can:
- Damage nearby players and entities
- Destroy surrounding blocks
Creeper Safe Blocks only removes the block destruction part.
The Creeper explosion itself is not cancelled.
That means Creepers are still dangerous in Survival — they simply won't leave a giant hole in your base afterward.

Other explosion sources keep their normal Minecraft behavior.

You can keep Creepers dangerous without having to constantly repair holes in your world.
⚖️ Creepers Are Still Dangerous
This addon does not make Creepers harmless.
They can still damage or kill you if you stand too close.
The goal is not to remove the threat.
The goal is to protect your builds.
You still need to watch out for Creepers while exploring or fighting.
🎯 Only Creepers Are Changed
Creeper Safe Blocks does not disable explosions globally.
The protection only activates when the explosion source is a:
Creeper
This means other explosion mechanics continue working normally.
For example:
- 🧨 TNT
- 💎 End Crystals
- 💥 Other explosion-producing entities or mechanics
are not modified by this addon.
🌍 Alternative to Global Mob Griefing Changes
If you only want to stop Creepers from destroying blocks, changing an entire world rule can affect more mechanics than necessary.
Creeper Safe Blocks targets Creeper block destruction specifically.
Other mob and explosion mechanics can continue working normally.
⚡ Lightweight
Creeper Safe Blocks has no constant scanning system.
It simply listens for explosions and checks whether the source is a Creeper.
If it is, the affected block list is cleared before the explosion destroys those blocks.
There are:
- 🚫 No constant entity scans
- 🚫 No commands running every tick
- 🚫 No configuration menus
- 🚫 No unnecessary background systems
⚙️ No Configuration Required
There is nothing you need to configure.
Once the addon is enabled:
Creeper block protection works automatically.
No commands.

🧩 Compatibility
🚫 No player.json
Creeper Safe Blocks does not use player.json.
This helps reduce conflicts with addons that modify:
- Player animations
- Player models
- Player textures
- Player behavior
🧩 Other Addons
The addon only modifies the blocks affected by Creeper explosion events.
It does not replace the player or globally disable Minecraft explosions.
This makes it easy to use alongside other addons.
👥 Realms & Multiplayer
Creeper Safe Blocks can be used in multiplayer worlds and Realms.
The protection applies to Creeper explosions throughout the world.
🧪 Experimental Gameplay
The addon uses the stable Minecraft Script API.
No Experimental Gameplay toggles are required.

Installation
- Import Creeper Safe Blocks BP

Creeper protection works automatically.
