Changelog:

Redesigned the custom effects UI system.

• Custom effects now appear in order instead of being separated across the UI.
• Custom effects are now displayed in the lower-left corner of the HUD.
• Improved compatibility with addons that modify the UI (e.g., WAILA).
• If you encounter compatibility issues with another addon, it is recommended to prioritize that addon above Rustic in the resource and behavior load order. You can also disable the custom effects UI using the new addon configuration command, which is recommended if any incompatibilities occur.
• Fixed an issue that would constantly display the title "empty;" on the screen (most commonly caused by addon compatibility issues).

Known Issues

• If you leave a world while custom effects are active, you may need to move your character after rejoining for the effects to reappear on the screen.

Custom Effects Adjustments

• Alcoholic beverages must now have a minimum quality of 0.70 to grant positive effects. Qualities between 0.50 and 0.69 are neutral.
  • For Ironberry Wine, qualities between 0.70 and 0.74 grant temporary hearts. Maximum quality (0.75) grants permanent extra hearts until the player dies.
• Adjusted several effects related to Inebriation:
  • Level III now grants Nausea and Slowness.
  • Level IV amplifies the previous effects and additionally grants Blindness.
• Reduced the chance of gaining Inebriation from beverages with a quality of 0.70 or higher by 10%.
• Removed Levels II and III from the Magic Resistance, Wither Ward, and Full Stomach effects.
• Fixed an issue where consuming Grape Wine would increase the duration of custom effects far more than intended with a single bottle.
• Fixed an issue that prevented Grape Wine from extending the duration of custom effects that were Level II or higher.
• Now, when you get alcoholic beverages from the Creative menu, they will have a base quality of 0.75 indicated in the lore of the item.
• Moved bottles and alcoholic beverages to the Equipment category in the Creative Inventory.
• Magic Resistance and Wither Ward now function correctly:
  • Magic Resistance now properly removes negative effects.
  • Wither Ward now properly removes the Wither effect.

New Settings Command

• Added the new /rustic:settings command, allowing players to configure certain aspects of the addon. More configuration options will be added over time.
• The command does not require cheats to be enabled and can only be used by administrators.
• Currently, the only available option is Custom Effects UI, which is enabled by default.
• This option controls the on-screen display of custom effects such as Magic Resistance, Wither Ward, Full Stomach, and Inebriation.
• The setting is purely visual and was implemented to improve compatibility with addons that modify the player's HUD. Custom effects will continue to function normally when this option is disabled; however, players will no longer be able to see which custom effects are active or their current level.

General

• Fixed an issue with the Crushing Tub where the Vanta Lily item was not rendered correctly inside the block.
• Improved the connection system for Olive, Ironwood, and Applewood fences. These fences now use the minecraft:connection trait.
  • This change fixes several issues with fence connections. Previously, fences could connect to any block, including flowers, herbs, and even water. Connections are now handled instantly, removing the slight delay that occurred before fences connected.
• Updated the textures of Iron and Gold Chandeliers.
• Updated the chain texture used by Copper Chandeliers.
• Increased the max stack size of Buckets to x8

Known Issues

• There are still some blocks that fences should not connect to. These unintended connections will be addressed in future updates.
