RuneCraft is an add-on that overhauls survival gameplay by reworking Minecraft gameplay systems, adding new items, structures, mobs, and mechanics to create an MMORPG experience. It draws heavily on inspiration from classics like Old School Runescape and Ultima Online. This is a complex add-on with a significant amount of depth that will prove challenging at times as you rediscover how to play the game.
For a more immersive experience, pair with the Sounds of OSRS Add-on to add music tracks from Runescape to your world.

Skills

RuneCraft currently has 13 skills, each with their own progression systems and unlocks. Some skills, such as Constitution, Prayer, and Agility, provide passive stat bonuses when the skill levels up. These passive stat increases end at level 99. Skills can continue to level up to 120, but this is more for vanity than unlocking access to new items/perks.
The current skills are as follows:
Ore Generation

RuneCraft overhauls the ore generation of vanilla Minecraft. All Vanilla ore has been replaced to now be in line with RuneScape ores (Tin, Copper, Iron, Mithril, Adamant, and Rune), and a new type of ore called Gemstone ore has also been added.
Additionally, ore can generate in all three dimensions. Different dimensions contain different densities of ore -this means that Coal may be more common in the Overworld, and sparse in the End Dimension, while something like Adamant Ore is more common in the Nether, but less common in the Overworld and End. For exact ore generation rates, and where ores can be found more commonly, see the Ore Generation Wiki Page.
Expanded Exploration
RuneCraft seeks to add meaningful expansions and true rare items. It boasts new structures, collectibles, boss items, and more. These features will continue to be expanded on in ways that enhance the player experience.
Currently, RuneCraft has:
- Strongholds of Security (4 Themed Structures).
- Zamorak Temples.
- Party Hats (Obtainable in interactions involving each skill).
- New Music Discs (Obtained from various structures).
- New Mob Heads (Obtained via secret methods).

Redefined Experience
RuneCraft has several features that redefine and shape how you interact with your world and plan your adventures, and this list continues to grow.

- Potion Soaked Sponges allow you to store a potion effect in a block. Standing on them will give the player the effect stored within without needing to drink additional potions.
- The Fan block allows you to both push and pull items and entities in your world and allows you to expand on the Potion Soaked Sponges to stack multiple effects at once.
- The Potion system has been revamped to allow durations to stack up to 30 minutes as opposed to only refreshing the duration.
- Crops now have a disease/fertilized soil system that creates a unique management and progression system for farming.
- Customized crafting.
- Hunger has been removed.
- Health is restored passively and by consuming food, and food stack sizes have been reduced to 1.
- Stamina system.
Noting Table

For an item to be notable it must meet the following requirements:
- Be unstackable
- Not have any enchantments (if applicable)
- Be at maximum durability (if applicable)

Each noting of an item requires 1 paper, which is returned to the player when the item is later unnoted.
The Noting table can be crafted using 6 planks of wood and 1 piece of paper.
Custom HUD
RuneCraft features a stylized HUD that incorporates all of the new gameplay elements. For information related to Orb states, see the HUD Wiki Page

From left to right:
- Health Orb (Changes texture when afflicted with negative effects)
- Armor Orb
- Prayer Slots
- Prayer Orb
- Stamina Orb
- Skill Levels, Totals, and Combat Level
Custom UI
Several skills in RuneCraft are driven by custom UI to enhance and streamline the experience.
