Rick's RPG and Nature

RPG Overview

This project aims to implement some rpg mechanics on the world, such as agility/movement level ups, for double or more jumps, archeology and treasures from high level digging and one click harvest with extra yield with gardening.

The project is still in it's initial part,  all the basic stats and some characteristics are implemented at this moment.

One note, the end has been modified to feel like another dimension (low gravity for players)

 

Stats:

  • Agility: double jump or more jumps in the air (Doesn't work propperly when interacting wiht Elytra atm)
  • Swimming: Extra air --TO IMPLEMENT ON NEXT SCRIPT API UPDATE--
  • Slaughter: Leech hp from defeated enemies, works better for crowds of weak mobs (Perfect for hordes)
  • Slaying: Gain Inspiration (xp) while fighting tought enemies (bosses or high hp mobs). Can give some saturation back after the taste of victory on higher levels...
  • Endurace: Gain resistance to damage when above half hp --TO IMPLEMENT PROPPERLY--. On small hits, regen the damage if enough hunger, at high levels.
  • Tenacity: Gained when taking hits on less than half hp, grants a shield on high levels (absorption)
  • Bartending: Gain more duration from positive effects and lower from negative ones--NOT IMPLEMENTED YET--
  • Mining: Gain extra drops from mining ores, results vary from one dimension to another (Silk touch doesn't drop, Fortune increases amount).
  • Digging: Excavate treasures from the dirt. --TO BE CHANGED TO BEHAVE LIKE MINING SOON--
  • Chopping: Extra logs from chopping.
  • Building:  Fall damage resistance when not in combat --NOT IMPLEMENTED YET--
  • Gardening: Extra drops from harvesting crops (Right click), affected by fortune in mainhand tool if the crop takes it in mind. Gain gold variants from some crops --NOT IMPLEMENTED YET--

Each armor and tool, both vanilla and from the mod, grants a bonus on the growth of these stats, can be seen in the display text

For translating shortage (one human on this) Vanilla tools display text only is avaliable on ES-ES/ES-MX/EN-US/EN-GB

When you gain any ammount of xp (only when >=1) some particles will show the stat growth with their respective color.

You can check what are your stats and their explanation just by sneaking and interacting with a bed or any campfire (Same isue, only in ES-ES/ES-MX/EN-US/EN-GB avaliable for now)

Nature Overview

This project aims to add common natural crops, such as rice, corn, pepper, tomatoes and peach trees at the moment Nature

Crops

  • Corn: Grows on farmland and yields 1-3 corns, affected by fortune. May drop its grains from tall grass and variants.
  • Rice: Grows on dirt, sand, red sand, mud or grass with 1 block of water above. May drops its seeds from sea grass.
  • Farm Stick: Some crops (Tomatoe and Peppers) need something to hld and grow, place four sticks on a farmland and then place the seeds on the farm sticks to plant them.
  • Tomatoes: Grows on farm sticks and yields 2-3 tomatoes, affected by fortune. May drop its grains from tall grass and variants.
  • Peppers: Grows on farm sticks and yields 1-3 peppers, affected by fortune. May drop its grains from tall grass and variants.

Many food recipes are and will be aded when i finish reworking the hunger system for a more varied style.

Trees

Trees have vanilla behavior, decaying if chopped down (Will be reworked soon, too slow compared to vanilla behaviour atm)

  • Peach Tree: Same logs as cherry trees. Drop peaches and sticks from its leaves, as well as its own sapling. The peach can be crafted into golden peaches, which remove all negative effects on the player. It's saplings can be dropped from tall grass and variants.

Trinkets!!

The add-on also includes a few tools and trinkets aimed to aid in progression, such as:

Magnet: Crafted with copper, iron, redstone and an ender pearl, this small trinket will help anyone to gather loose xp and drops with its collecting effects, can be repaired on the inventory, crafting it with a redstone block.

Water Cane: Tired of not using the turtle helmet, or only having one scute? Craft this handy trinket and gain water breathing whenever you need, and explore the oceans to you hearts content. --REMOVED FOR REWORK--

Vitamins: Crafted with the bests of the food in the world, this trinket will remove any ailments from the player, while also giving them a brief resistance effect.--REMOVED FOR REWORK ON HUNGER SOON--

Whisp in a Bottle: You will notice that killing enemies have a small chance to drop souls. Use those to craft this trinket, and use it to walk as a ghost or save a big fall.--REMOVED FOR REWORK, WILL GRANT +1 JUMP ON AGILITY--

Solid Magma:  This small hot stone takes some hunger from the player, and in exchange grants strength and fire resistance for a brief moment, useful when stuck in a melting situation.--REMOVED, WILL BE REWORKED--

Armour Set Effects

You read it right, this addon also adds the effects set you know from any rpg, implementing both vanilla armor sets, the 4 included in this mod and the future copper armor set in the next minecraft drop.

Current armor sets:

The effects of each one I leave blank, feel free to explore and mix!

  • Steampunk set (2-4 pieces)
  • Obscured Diamond (2-4 pieces)
  • Maid Set (2-4 pieces, full set has an extra effect, better for multiplayer)
  • Leather (2-4 pieces)
  • Chainmail (2-4 pieces)
  • Copper (2-4 pieces)
  • Gold (2-4 pieces, best for mining)
  • Iron (2-4 pieces)
  • Diamond (2-4 pieces)
  • Netherite (2-4 pieces, full set grants an extra effect)
  • Wildcard (Turtle Shell, Elytra): Counts for any armor set.
    … and many more to create, open for ideas!
