RR Reverse Crafting PRO v2.0.0 - The Ultimate Material Recovery Expansion
Hey everyone. Let us talk about a situation every single Minecraft player has experienced at least once. You just spent hours strip mining at Y level negative 58, dodging lava and creepers, to finally gather enough diamonds for a full set of armor. You go back to your base, open the crafting table, and in a rush, you accidentally craft two diamond chestplates instead of a chestplate and leggings. In vanilla Minecraft, that is a complete disaster. You just permanently wasted eight incredibly rare diamonds, and there is absolutely no way to undo that mistake. Or think about the mid-game progression. When you finally upgrade from iron tools to diamond gear, you are left with chests full of slightly damaged iron pickaxes, swords, and armor that you will never use again. You also raid ruined portals and find golden armor, or loot End Cities and get diamond gear with terrible enchantments. In the base game, all of these items are just inventory clutter.
I always felt that if you can put materials together to build an item, you should be able to take it apart and get your hard-earned resources back. That is exactly why I created the RR Reverse Crafting PRO addon. This expansion adds 30 highly balanced, incredibly useful reverse crafting recipes directly into your standard crafting grid. It allows you to break down tools, armor, and specific blocks back into their raw materials. Version 2.0.0 is a massive rewrite of the entire system. I have built an entirely new tracking engine and unlocked every single feature for you. There are no locked menus, no keys required, and no hidden paywalls. It is a complete, fully accessible survival utility right from the moment you install it into your world.
The 30 Balanced Reverse Recipes
The core of this addon is the custom recipe list. I specifically designed these 30 recipes to be perfectly balanced so they do not ruin your survival economy. This is not a duplication glitch mod. If an item costs a certain amount of materials to craft, you get exactly that amount back when you reverse it. The process is incredibly simple: you just place the unneeded item anywhere in your crafting grid, and the output will be the raw materials.
For example, if you accidentally craft that extra diamond chestplate, you can just put it back into the crafting table and get your 8 diamonds back instantly. If you have an old iron pickaxe taking up space, you can reverse it into 3 iron ingots. This works for all diamond tools and armor, all iron tools and armor, and all gold tools and armor. It makes looting structures so much more rewarding. When you find useless gold boots in a ruined portal chest, you are actually finding 4 gold ingots.
I also included several miscellaneous items that are notorious for wasting materials. Have an extra Anvil that is slightly damaged or just taking up space? You can reverse it to get 3 whole iron blocks back, which is a massive amount of iron. You can also break down extra Minecarts into 5 iron ingots, Compasses into 4 iron ingots, or tear down Bookshelves to get 3 books back. It completely changes how you manage your storage room.
The RPG Discovery System and Material Calculator
I did not want this to just be a basic recipe pack that you use and forget about. I wanted it to feel like a rewarding gameplay mechanic. That is why I built the Discovery System. The addon silently tracks your crafting activities. The very first time you reverse a specific item, the system registers it as a new discovery. You will hear a satisfying sound effect and see an on-screen notification telling you exactly what you just discovered and your current progress out of the 30 total recipes.
In this brand new update, I also added a highly requested feature: The Material Calculator. Every time you reverse craft an item, the system tracks the exact value of the materials you recovered. You can open the calculator tool from your dashboard to see exactly how many total diamonds, iron ingots, gold ingots, and miscellaneous items you have saved from being wasted over the entire lifetime of your world. Watching that number go up to hundreds or even thousands of recovered diamonds is an incredibly satisfying feeling.
The Interactive Book Dashboard
Managing 30 new recipes and tracking your stats can be overwhelming, and I absolutely hate addons that force players to memorize chat commands. To fix this, I moved everything into a clean, interactive user interface. To access your entire reverse crafting system, all you need to do is hold a standard Book in your hand, sneak to crouch, and use the item. The Master Dashboard will instantly open on your screen.
From this dashboard, you can browse the complete Recipe List. To make finding things easier, I have organized all 30 recipes into clean categories: Diamond Tools, Diamond Armor, Iron Tools, Iron Armor, Gold Items, and Misc Items. If you are a completionist trying to discover every single recipe in the game, you can check the Missing Recipes list. This screen will tell you exactly which items you still need to reverse craft to reach a 100 percent discovery rate. The dashboard also keeps a permanent counter of how many total items you have successfully reversed.
Achievements, Ranks, and Leaderboards
Survival Minecraft is all about setting goals, so I integrated a complete 15-tier achievement system directly into the addon. You get basic achievements for your First Reverse, but there are also category-specific challenges like the Diamond Recycler or Iron Recycler. If you really want to grind, there are massive milestone achievements for reversing 100 total items or recovering over 500 total materials.
As you discover more of the 30 recipes, your personal player profile will level up. You start off as a basic Apprentice, but as you unlock more recipes, your title upgrades to Skilled, Expert, and finally the prestigious Reverse Master rank.
If you are playing on a multiplayer server or a Realm with your friends, this addon introduces a really fun competitive element. You can open the Server Leaderboard from your book menu to see a live ranking of everyone on your server. It sorts players based on who has discovered the most recipes and who has recovered the highest amount of raw materials. It is a great way to see who the most efficient player in your group actually is.
Finally, I included a personal Settings menu. If you ever find the discovery alerts or sound effects distracting during a quiet building session, you can simply go into your settings and toggle them off. You have complete control over your own gameplay experience.

Important Installation Requirement: The 30 reverse crafting recipes will work perfectly fine in any regular world without any special toggles. However, if you want the interactive Book Dashboard, the Discovery Tracker, the Material Calculator, and the Leaderboards to work, you MUST go into your World Settings, navigate to the Experiments tab, and turn on the Beta APIs toggle before you load the world. Without this toggle, the advanced UI and tracking systems will simply not run.
