### UPDATE: v2.1 The Sanctuary We have recognized the need for a "Sanctuary." Through the Director’s Book, Operators can now enable Sanctuary Protection. This ritual anchors a 32-block safe zone around player spawn points, repelling Arterial Breaches and shielding your structures from the growing corruption. Because the Sanctuary simply redirects the World Heart's focus rather than exhausting it, the Global Cooldown (45s) is bypassed whenever a breach is blocked by the light. The whispers and storms will continue to swirl around the perimeter—never ceasing, only waiting.
Bug Fixes Stabilization (Saccade Refactor) Recent shifts increased the Director’s perception speed by fivefold (2-tick logic). This heightened awareness caused mundane glances to be mistaken for Panic Turns, manifesting ghosts from mere shadows. We have recalibrated the Saccade Threshold (from 2.5 to 12.5) to align with this new speed. Your Paranoia is once again tethered to true fear, ensuring the engine tracks your terror with lethal precision without sacrificing the new, fluid performance. ---
