🔥 Major Changes (Stability & Terror)

  • System Purge: Completely removed the "Iron Lung" and "Neural Degradation" systems.
    • Rationale: These systems were causing instability and were deemed too intrusive (camera shake issues).
    • Result: smoother gameplay, fewer script errors, and removal of broken fog mechanics.
  • Periphery Engine Overhaul:
    • Fixed: Corrected a critical math error where looking North (yaw 180/-180) caused "Panic Turns" to trigger constantly.
    • Tuned: Reduced "Jumpscare/Close Call" probability from 1% to 0.5%.
    • Tuned: Reduced "Distant Watcher" probability from 5% to 2%.
    • Result: Scares are now genuinely rare and terrifying, rather than annoying spam.

🛠️ Bug Fixes

  • Crash Prevention: Fixed widespread InvalidEntityError logs in weather_container.js and periphery_manager.js.
    • Added isValid() guards to all asynchronous operations (e.g., storms, mind prisons) to safely handle player disconnects or deaths during events.
  • Script Cleanup: Removed all lingering debug commands related to the Iron Lung from architect_debug.js to prevent confusion.

💀 Atmosphere & Polish

  • Loading Screen Terror: Added custom loading screen tips to set the mood before the world even starts.
    • "The heart beats under your feet."
    • "Do not let the silence find you."
    • "If you see it, look away. If you hear it, run."
