Description
## What it does
Ever wondered who actually plays on your Realm and what they do all day? RealmStats answers it every midnight with a Discord report:
- ⏱️ playtime per player (ranked, with medals)
- ⛏️ blocks broken / 🧱 blocks placed (totals + per-block-type)
- ⚔️ mob kills · 💀 deaths · 🔁 sessions · 🌀 dimension changes
- Daily + lifetime stats, day boundaries in your timezone
**Bonus:** the companion app downloads your world daily, so you also get automatic dated `.mcworld` backups — better retention than the built-in Realm backups.
## How it works
1. Install this behavior pack on your Realm (no experiments needed, stable Script API only)
2. It silently collects stats — read-only, zero lag, never touches blocks/inventories/entities
3. A small companion app (you host it — ~30 min one-time setup) pulls the world nightly, extracts the stats, and posts the report to your Discord

## Safety
- 100% read-only: never modifies terrain, entities, inventories, game rules, or permissions
- Writes only its own `realmstats:*` data — cannot conflict with other addons
- Removing the pack leaves your world completely untouched
- Designed for live, existing Realms with real players and progress
## Requirements / honest notes
- You must be the **Realm owner** (the companion app logs in with the owner's Microsoft account — one time)
- The companion app needs any small always-on Node.js host (a free-tier VPS or app host is fine)
- Uses the community Realms API (prismarine-realms); if Mojang changes endpoints, pulls may need a library update — your stats stay safe in the world either way
- Item pickup/drop/crafting stats are not included because Bedrock's stable API can't measure them reliably — we don't fake numbers
## FAQ
**Lag?** No — counts in memory, writes a few KB per minute. No tick loops, no entity scans.
**Multiplayer-safe with other packs?** Yes — fully namespaced, read-only.
**Cost?** The addon and app are free and open source (MIT). You only need somewhere to run the small app.
