Description
Random Horror

Promotional illustration; gameplay uses Minecraft’s in-game visuals.
The dungeon is quiet. That is how it starts.
You step into the dark. A pumpkin burns at the corner of a narrow passage. Somewhere beyond it, something is waiting.
Three objectives stand between you and the exit. Each one makes the music darker. Each one gives the Keeper another reason to come looking for you.
Find what you came for. Remember the way back. Reach the gold block before it reaches you.
🎃 Halloween Edition — v0.9.0
The familiar dungeon lights have become glowing jack-o'-lanterns, in the same locations. The corridors, objectives and pursuit remain intact. Halloween is a good excuse to take one more wrong turn.
Four nightmares. One way out.
The Three Seals — Find three green seals and hold your ground while each one charges. The first seal wakes the danger. The last one starts your escape.
The Lost Prisoner — Recover two keys, free the captive and make it back together. Getting in is the easy part.
Break the Ritual — Activate three runes in order. After the first rune, the countdown begins. The dungeon will not wait for you.
The Forgotten Diary — Find three books on stands hidden around the dungeon. Interact with each book to take a torn paper page into your inventory. The third page is your signal to run.
The scenarios arrive in a shuffled cycle: all four appear once every four rounds, with no consecutive scenario repeats. The dungeon selects from 12 maze layouts, without repeating the previous layout, and diary locations vary each round.
Listen to what changes
- Original atmospheric music progresses through four stages, from a quiet beginning to a frantic final escape.
- Choose Easy, Normal or Nightmare to control how relentless the Keeper becomes.
- Brief randomized scares include a chicken darting past and a shadow crossing the room.
- Completing all three objectives gives you a three-second head start.
- The escape instruction stays on screen: RETURN TO THE GOLD BLOCK.
Headphones recommended. Sudden sounds and jumpscares are part of the experience.
Install and enter
- Download RandomHorror-v0.9.0-Halloween.mcaddon and open it with Minecraft Bedrock.
- Create a new, dedicated singleplayer world. This addon builds its lobby and dungeon in the Overworld and changes world settings; use a world made for this experience.
- Activate both included packs: the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack, version 0.9.0.
- Use a non-Peaceful difficulty. Cheats can remain OFF; no setup commands are needed.
- Enter the world and wait for the lobby to finish preparing. Interact with the green pedestal and choose Play — random scenario.
Select the menu compass and sneak to open the menu. On desktop, right-click the diary books to collect pages. Finish your three objectives, then return to the gold block at the dungeon entrance.
Minecraft Bedrock only. Current release supports one player. Minimum pack engine version: 1.21.90. In-game testing has been done on Minecraft for Windows 26.52; mobile, console and Realms compatibility have not been verified. Import and activation are separate steps.

The pumpkins can light the corridor. They cannot tell you what is behind you.
