Description
Listen up, Minecraft community. We need to have a serious talk about vanilla survival. Let us be entirely honest here, once you have played the game for a few years, standard survival mode becomes way too predictable. You know exactly what is going to happen when you mine a diamond, you know exactly how much food a steak gives you, and you know exactly what is inside a dungeon chest. It gets a bit boring, right? I wanted to completely destroy that predictability. I wanted an experience where you literally never know what is going to happen next.
That is the exact reason I locked myself in and developed the Random Chaos add-on under Novacraft studios. I wanted to create a world where every single click is a gamble. Imagine mining a simple block of dirt and suddenly triggering a massive explosion of rare loot, or eating a piece of bread and accidentally summoning an angry Warden right in your base. This add-on turns your regular survival world into a high-stakes, adrenaline-pumping casino where the game itself is constantly rolling the dice on your life.
EVERY SINGLE ACTION IS A GAMBLE
The core mechanic of this add-on is pure, unfiltered RNG (Random Number Generation). You do not need to activate anything special to start the chaos; it is permanently woven into your everyday gameplay. Almost everything you do has a hidden percentage chance to trigger a random event.
If you break a block, there is an eight percent chance something crazy happens. Killing a mob has a massive fifteen percent chance to trigger an event. Even just placing blocks, taking damage from falling, eating food to heal, or opening your storage chests can set off a chain reaction. You are never truly safe. You could be low on health, decide to eat a baked potato, and suddenly the game hits you with a massive speed boost and regeneration. Or, it could poison you and spawn five zombies on your head. It is entirely up to your luck.
THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE HILARIOUS
I spent a lot of time coding over thirty unique random events so the game never feels repetitive. When the chaos triggers, the game rolls from different categories based on what you were doing.
If you get lucky, you might experience a "Loot Explosion" where diamonds, emeralds, and golden apples literally burst out of the ground. You might get an "XP Shower" that drops fifteen free levels on you, or a random "Totem Effect" that makes you practically invincible with resistance and fire protection. But bro, if your luck is terrible? You are in for a rough time. The add-on can strike you with lightning, plant primed TNT right under your feet, or hit you with the "Vomit Items" curse where your character just starts throwing up useless junk items. I even added a "Boss Spawn" event that can randomly drop a Ravager or an Evoker right next to you while you are just trying to farm wheat.
GRINDING RANKS AND FLEXING MILESTONES
Because I know how much we all love to grind and flex on our friends, I built a massive progression system right into the add-on. Every single time a chaos event happens to you, the game tracks it. As you survive more and more random events, you will rank up through twelve unique Chaos Titles. You start as a basic "Calm Player," but if you grind long enough, you can become a "Chaos King" or even reach the final "Absolute Chaos" rank.
To make the grind actually worth it, there are built-in milestone rewards. When you hit certain numbers, like 150 or 500 chaos events survived, the game broadcasts your achievement to the entire server and drops premium rewards right into your inventory, like free diamonds, netherite scraps, and blocks of netherite. There are even a few secret, funny hidden number milestones that will drop a special message in your chat if you hit them.
THE MAGIC STICK AND LEADERBOARDS
I wanted you to have total control over your stats without having to type out long, annoying commands. So, I coded a custom UI directly into a standard vanilla item. All you have to do is hold a regular Stick in your hand, crouch, and click. This instantly opens the ultimate Random Chaos control panel on your screen.
From this menu, you can check your complete, detailed statistics—how many blocks you have broken, how many traps you survived, and your best lucky streak. You can also view a full history log of the last fifteen chaotic things that happened to you. If you are playing on a realm with your friends, there is a built-in Leaderboard button so you can instantly see who the top chaos bringer on the server is.
And if you are feeling genuinely insane? You can go into the settings and change your "Chaos Level" multiplier. You can crank it all the way up to Level 5 (Maximum Chaos), which massively multiplies the chances of events happening. Just be warned, doing that is basically a death sentence.
