Use the Quirk Spinner to get one. The stronger the quirk, the rarer it is.

Level up your quirk. Use it to gain mastery, up to Level 100.
Unlock moves. Spend skill points in the skill tree. Stronger moves cost more points. You can respec any time.
Raise your Hero Rank. It goes up to Rank 30. At ranks 4, 9, 14, 19, 24 and 29 you must pass a combat exam to continue.
Pick a path. Be a Hero (missions, wanted board) or a Villain (contracts, Infamy). Each path keeps its own progress.
Beat the bosses. Stain, Muscular, Overhaul, Nomu, Shigaraki and Gigantomachia.

You start with the Fist. Craft the others and bind one to your quirk in the Menu Book.
