QoL Tools

QoL Tools is a quality-of-life addon for Minecraft Bedrock that eliminates the most repetitive tasks in survival — mining, farming, and chopping — without changing how the game feels. No new blocks, no weird recipes, no experimental toggles. Just grab your tools and play.

Features

⛏️ Vein Miner

Mine one ore and the entire connected vein breaks automatically. Works with all ore types including deepslate and Nether variants. Respects Fortune and Silk Touch. Drops XP correctly for every block in the chain. Configurable block limit (32 / 64 / 128 / 256). The chain stops automatically before your pickaxe breaks.

🌾 Smart Crop Harvesting

Tap a mature crop with a hoe and it harvests everything in the configured radius — then replants automatically if you have seeds in your inventory. Supports wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroot, nether wart, cocoa, melon, and pumpkin. Visual particles preview the harvest area before it happens. Configurable radius (1×1 / 3×3 / 5×5). The hoe never consumes durability on harvest — vanilla behavior.

🌳 Tree Capitator

Chop the base of any tree and the entire thing comes down in one hit. Connected leaves from that same tree decay automatically — without touching neighboring trees or player-placed leaves. Works with all wood types including Nether stems, mangrove, cherry, and bamboo. Configurable log limit (128 / 256 / 512).

✂️ Shear Leaf Chain

Cut one leaf with shears and the entire connected mass of the same type gets cut in a chain, dropping leaf blocks. Only affects natural leaves — player-placed leaves act as a barrier and won't be cut. Configurable leaf limit (256 / 512 / 1024).

Configuration

Starting from v1.1, every function is fully configurable in-game through two new items:

🔧 Gear — Personal configuration item. Craft it with 4 iron ingots in a cross pattern. Opens your own settings menu where you can toggle each function on/off and adjust limits and radius independently from other players.

⚙️ Admin Gear — Global configuration item. Obtainable via /give command, operators only. Controls world-wide settings that act as a ceiling over each player's personal configuration — if a function is disabled globally, no player can enable it from their own menu.
