Bring your Minecraft world to life with PUREVFX, a massive ambience and visual effects overhaul for Bedrock Edition. Weather, sky, water, combat, and sound — every moment gets richer with over 40 individually toggleable systems.

Rain Particles — visible rain sheets with realistic falling motion
Blizzard — heavy wind-driven snow during thunderstorms in snowy biomes
Sandstorm — dense wind-blown sand clouds during thunderstorms in desert biomes
Snow Flurry — a gentle, always-on dusting of snow in cold biomes even outside storms
Sand Drift — light ambient sand wisps lifting off the ground on calm desert days
Atmospheric Fog — biome-tinted fog that shifts with your surroundings
Ground Fog — low, ground-hugging mist patches at dawn and night
Wind — a shared wind direction driving rain, falling leaves, and sandstorm motion
Environment
Ambient Dust — floating dust motes across biomes
Butterflies — multiple species drifting through flowers, grass, and open ground, with movement-based spawn behavior
Fireflies — soft blinking glow motes over grass and foliage at night
Natural Decor — gentle floating pollen/seed motes over grass and foliage by day
Falling Leaves — biome-specific drifting leaf particles for every tree type
Cold Breath — visible breath in freezing biomes
Footprint Decals — persistent ground marks across surfaces
Torch Flare — glowing light bloom around torches
Dynamic Lights — held, worn, and dropped light sources (torches, lanterns, lava buckets, glowing/on-fire mobs) actually light up the world
Waterfall Mist — streak-and-mist effect where falling water lands, tinted per biome water color
Embers — drifting embers near torches, campfires, and lanterns
Underwater Bubbles — ambient bubbles while swimming
Ambient Mist — a subtle wisp of mist that follows the player, independent of weather
Godrays — light shafts through the environment
Water Splashes — droplets, side-splash, and ripple particles
TNT Explosion FX — layered blast particles with distance-aware sound
Lava Splashes — molten splash and ash trail when entities fall into lava
Lava Ambience — surface bubbles, embers, and heat-glow near exposed lava
Tumbleweeds — wind-blown tumbleweeds that roll across deserts with real physics-driven movement
Sky
Rainbows — appear after rain clears in eligible biomes
Northern Lights (Aurora) — color-shifting curtains in the night sky over snowy biomes, with a rare extra-vivid variant
Shooting Stars — stars streak across clear night skies
Meteor Showers — rare multi-star events radiating from a single point in the sky
Ambient Birds — biome- and time-of-day-aware flyby birds
Volumetric Clouds — layered sky clouds
End Sky (Ambience) — glow dust, void tendrils, dimension crack sparks, and falling ender motes in The End
End Sky (Distant Stars) — a farther-out sparkle layer reading as distant stars in the End's void sky
Lens Flare — sun/moon lens flare
Combat
Blood FX — color-coded blood spray and ground splatter on hit, skipped for bone/metal mobs for realism
Ambient Sounds
Biome & Cave Ambience — looping soundscapes with pitch variation
Wildlife Calls — owl, wolf, crow, and eagle sounds
Rain & Thunder Audio — matching storm intensity
Adjustable ambient volume slider
Settings
Every single feature is individually toggleable in-game through the PUREVFX Settings Book — organized into Weather, Environment, Sky, Combat, and Ambient Sounds categories. A new Game Mode menu also lets you apply bulk quality presets (Low, Medium, High, Realistic) that set every toggle at once. No fake or dead toggles — if it's in the menu, it works.
Compatibility
Works with survival, creative, and adventure worlds
Pure particle/script implementation, no resource conflicts
Performance-conscious with tick-budgeted scanning systems — tested and runs smoothly even on low-end devices (2GB RAM)
Requires Minecraft Bedrock 1.21+
