Presence Footsteps — Bedrock Edition
Requires Minecraft Version 26.3+
Presence Footsteps for Bedrock is an unofficial port of the original Presence Footsteps, bringing its immersive movement sounds to Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.
Presence Footsteps expands the sounds you hear while moving through the world, giving different blocks and materials their own distinct footsteps. Instead of every surface sounding alike, wood, stone, vegetation, containers, and many other materials react differently as you walk across or through them.
Some examples include:
- Wooden blocks and containers creak beneath your feet.
- Stone sounds rough, dusty, and solid.
- Pistons can sound different depending on which part you step on.
- Cake has its own soft, messy footsteps.
- Tall grass and similar vegetation rustle as you move through them.
- Magma has a hot, sizzling sound beneath your feet.
- Other blocks are grouped by material to give the world much more varied movement audio.
The goal is simple: make exploring Minecraft sound more detailed, responsive, and immersive without changing how the game itself is played.
Bedrock Port
This add-on recreates the Presence Footsteps experience using Minecraft: Bedrock Edition's add-on and sound systems. Because Java and Bedrock handle sounds differently, some behavior may differ from the original mod.
This is an unofficial Bedrock port and is not maintained by the original Presence Footsteps developers.
Original Project
Presence Footsteps was originally created by Huricaaan (Ha3) and later continued and maintained by Sollace and contributors.
