The saw's 

Saws are expendle tools used to cut down trees (FROM THE BASE BLOCK OF IT!)  they durability is per tree not per block soo your not left with a random block at y-96 from a 4x4 spruce tree like in most addon then calculate the durability per log, down are more detalis 

Redstone Saw work like this :

The redstone say top work like a hopper for logs 
one of the sides need to Hopper coal inside
the front drop the planks , 1 log = 8 planks
(trick , cut tree with saw , debark it with the new debarking knife and put the striped logs in the machine)
(sometimes the machine works only faceing nord for some reason)

this works with logs from :
- Corecraft 
- oh the biomes you go
- biomes o plenty
with they custom woods

Debarking knifes : 

Bark ,
bark is new item you can get using the debarking knifes on vanilla logs

this new item open 2 big crafting recepies 

You can use 4 of them to get 2 paper 
or you can use 2 of them to get the wooden version of a log

(this works only with vanilla logs)
