π₯ Perimeter TNT
Perimeter TNT adds 3 powerful and specialized TNT types to Minecraft Bedrock, designed for large-scale excavation, perimeter creation, TNT machines, flying machines, horizontal TNT cannons, and technical projects.
Each TNT has a different purpose, allowing you to choose the right explosive for your build.
β¨ Features
-
π£ 3 unique TNT types
-
βΎοΈ All TNTs are infinite
-
𧱠Powerful custom block destruction
-
π‘οΈ Bedrock is protected
-
π Directional Horizontal TNT
-
π¦ Dispenser support
-
ποΈ Great for perimeter projects
-
βοΈ Useful for technical Minecraft builds
-
π Optimized for better TPS performance
-
π Does NOT disable achievements
π£ Infinite TNT
The Infinite TNT is the simplest TNT in the addon.
It works similarly to vanilla TNT, but it can be used infinitely without being consumed.
You can use it as a normal placed TNT or with a dispenser.
π¦ Dispenser behavior
All TNTs in this addon have a safety behavior when used with dispensers:
If there is a block directly in front of the dispenser, the TNT will not activate.
This helps prevent unwanted TNT activation when building TNT machines or other technical systems.
βοΈ Best for
The Infinite TNT is especially recommended when you need a large number of explosions while keeping performance as close as possible to vanilla TNT.

𧨠Perimeter TNT
The Perimeter TNT is designed specifically for large-scale excavation and perimeter creation.
It behaves similarly to the Infinite TNT when activated, but instead of using a normal vanilla explosion, it uses a much more powerful custom explosion.
After activation, the TNT waits a few seconds before exploding.
If it encounters a solid or liquid block after its activation, it will explode and destroy blocks in its explosion area.
The Perimeter TNT can destroy almost any block, including blocks that normally cannot be destroyed by vanilla TNT.
π‘οΈ Bedrock Protection
Bedrock can never be destroyed by this TNT.
This makes it particularly useful for creating large perimeters while keeping the world's Bedrock layer intact.
βοΈ Best for
-
Large perimeters
-
Farm perimeters
-
Clearing massive areas
-
Excavation
-
Technical projects
-
Large construction projects

β‘ Horizontal TNT
The Horizontal TNT is designed for directional explosions and horizontal excavation.
It shares the main behavior of the Perimeter TNT, including its powerful custom explosion and ability to destroy almost any block while keeping Bedrock intact.
However, it has one major difference:
π Directional Launch
When activated by a dispenser, the TNT receives a small forward push and launches out of the dispenser like a projectile.
When activated as a block, the TNT launches in the opposite direction from the side where it was activated.
π Examples
Activated from behind → launches forward
Activated from the front → launches backward
Activated from the top → launches downward
Activated from the bottom → launches upward
Activated from the left → launches right
Activated from the right → launches left
This allows you to control the direction of the TNT depending on how you activate it.
π₯ Horizontal Explosion
The explosion is specially designed to be more horizontal and directional.
Instead of spreading its destructive power equally in every direction, the explosion focuses more of its power toward the front, while still affecting a smaller area around the TNT.
This makes it useful for:
-
π³οΈ Long tunnels
-
π₯ Horizontal TNT cannons
-
π TNT flying machines
-
ποΈ Perimeter excavation
-
βοΈ TNT machines
-
βοΈ Large horizontal excavation projects

ποΈ Made for Technical Minecraft
These TNTs aren't only designed for explosions.
They can be used as tools for large technical projects, including:
π Perimeters
Create huge perimeters much faster than manually removing thousands or millions of blocks.
π TNT Flying Machines
The specialized TNT can be used with flying machines to automate large-scale excavation.
π₯ Horizontal TNT Cannons
Use the Horizontal TNT to create directional TNT cannons and other technical contraptions.
βοΈ TNT Machines
Build automated TNT systems for excavation, clearing areas, and other technical projects.
βοΈ Large-Scale Excavation
Quickly clear enormous areas for farms, builds, bases, and technical projects.
βοΈ Performance & Optimization
Performance was an important part of the development of this addon.
The custom explosions used by Perimeter TNT and Horizontal TNT can be considerably heavier than normal vanilla TNT, especially when many explosions occur at the same time.
Because of this, the addon was optimized to reduce unnecessary performance impact from:
-
π₯ Explosion calculations
-
𧱠Block destruction
-
β¨ Particles
-
π Sounds
-
π£ Multiple simultaneous explosions
-
π TPS usage
The goal was to make large TNT operations as efficient as possible while still providing the specialized behavior of the custom TNTs.
π‘ Having TPS problems?
If you are experiencing TPS drops while using large quantities of TNT, Infinite TNT is the recommended option.
Infinite TNT uses a vanilla-style explosion, making it significantly lighter than the custom explosions used by Perimeter TNT and Horizontal TNT.
The other two TNTs are naturally more demanding because they perform additional calculations and custom block destruction, but optimization was applied wherever possible.
π Achievements
β Achievements are NOT disabled.
You can use Perimeter TNT in your worlds without disabling Minecraft achievements.
π Before Using the Addon
Please read this description to understand the differences between the three TNT types, their activation behavior, crafting recipes, and recommended uses.
Each TNT was designed for a specific purpose, so choosing the right one can make a big difference in both performance and efficiency.
