What's new
Paradise.exe 0.3 beta changelog
0.3 is a major rewrite and expansion of the pack. The old monolithic script has been split into smaller modules, while the horror director, dimensions, visuals, and audio have all been rebuilt around new systems.
Horror events
- Added Horror Events V2 with 60 events in six families: environmental, sensory, reality distortion, player reactive, watcher linked, and destructive.
- Events now account for light, sky light, shelter, doors, movement, routes, and recent event history.
- Added event cooldowns, family suppression, repeat penalties, and a two session limit.
- Destructive events now have block limits, protected areas, player and entity checks, safe floor checks, and restoration after reloads.
- The active entrypoint now uses V2. The older harmful and destructive event modules remain in the package but are not active during normal startup.
Watcher
- Added adaptive behavior that learns from look backs, sprint escapes, freezing, hiding, backtracking, repeated routes, and flashlight checks.
- Added new tactics including peripheral watching, false rear threats, route poisoning, stare contests, bait sightings, shadow pursuit, empty rooms, predicted ambushes, and short hunts.
- Watcher damage now requires fresh line of sight or other confirmed evidence.
Worlds
- Added 28 authored structures across seven dimensions.
- Burning Highway gets structural ribs and a heavier blackstone mix.
- Catacombs gets new modules, shorter flicker range, and longer light cycles.
- Endless Staircase now uses deepslate brick stairs and has new supports, bridges, and landings.
- Flat Flower has less dense flowers, mixed flower types, sparse light anchors, and patch rebuilding after actual edits.

- Library gets new room variants, shelf layouts, and lighting.
- Yellow Halls gets less sea lantern coverage, decay details, and better repair behavior after edits and explosions.
Visuals and audio
- Added fog profiles for every custom dimension, with a runtime fallback when the preferred fog method is unavailable.
- Added dust, pollen, ash, and celestial particles with limits for different visual settings.
- Reworked the VHS overlay with grain, tracking, dropout effects, color grading, shadows, and a camera display with REC, CAM 01, and battery indicators.
