How to make Ore Trees?

Combine 8 units of the desired ore/resource with a sapling to create the corresponding Ore Sapling.

There are 10 different Ore Trees:

How to plant them?

Place an Ore Sapling on suitable ground and let it grow.

Ore Trees can grow on a variety of blocks, including ores and common stone-type blocks.

Planting a tree on its corresponding ore gives it a better chance of growing.

For example:

•  Diamond Sapling → Diamond Ore / Deepslate Diamond Ore
•  Iron Sapling → Iron Ore / Deepslate Iron Ore
•  Redstone Sapling → Redstone Ore / Deepslate Redstone Ore
•  Gold Sapling → Gold Ore / Deepslate Gold Ore
•  Gold Sapling can also grow in the Nether on Nether Gold Ore and other suitable Nether blocks.

How do I grow the tree?

You can simply wait for the sapling to grow naturally.

Or, if you're in a hurry, you can speed up its growth by using the tree's corresponding resource, similar to using bone meal.

Different trees use different items for growth.

For example:

• Coal Tree → Coal or Charcoal
• Copper Tree → Raw Copper or Copper Ingots
• Gold Tree → Raw Gold or Gold Ingots
• Netherite Tree → Netherite Scrap
• Quartz Tree → Quartz
• Diamond Tree → Diamonds

What can you do with the trees?

🔸 Strip the logs with an axe.

Stripping an Ore Tree log turns it into a stripped version and gives you the tree's corresponding resource.

🔸 Collect the leaves with shears.

Shears let you collect the special Ore Tree leaves.

🔸 Harvest the leaves for resources.

Ore Tree leaves can drop their corresponding resource and can also give you another sapling, allowing you to grow more trees.

🔸 Leaves will decay.

When the leaves are no longer connected to the tree's logs, they can naturally disappear and may drop resources or saplings.
