OptiPack is a lightweight optimization add-on for Minecraft Bedrock that helps keep your worlds running smoothly, even on large survival maps or heavily-farmed servers. Inspired by performance mods like Sodium for Java Edition, OptiPack focuses on reducing lag from entity overload, dropped items, and XP orbs — without changing the client’s graphics engine.
XP Orb Merging – Automatically combines nearby XP orbs into a single clump, drastically reducing entity count near mob farms.
Global Item Cleanup – Periodically removes excess dropped items to prevent server/world lag.
Per-Player Item Caps – Limits the number of items in a player’s vicinity to maintain smooth performance.
Soft Entity Caps – Prevents overcrowding of entities like armor stands or other non-essential mobs.
Admin Status Command – Use /optipack status to see current settings and cleanup intervals.
Fully Configurable – Tweak intervals, caps, and XP merge radius by editing the script.
Download the .mcaddon file.
Open it with Minecraft Bedrock; it will automatically import both the behavior and resource packs.
Create or open a world, then enable:
