RR One Block CURSED v1.0.0 - The Ultimate Chaos Skyblock Experience
Hey everyone. The classic One Block survival map is easily one of the most popular ways to play Minecraft. It is incredibly fun to build a massive island starting from nothing, but let us be honest: after the first few hours, it gets a bit boring. You just stand in one spot, holding down the mine button, slowly gathering dirt and wood while watching YouTube in the background. There is absolutely no risk or excitement involved. I wanted to take the core concept of One Block and turn it into a highly stressful, chaotic, and terrifying survival challenge.
That is exactly why I created the RR One Block CURSED addon. This expansion completely rewrites the rules of the skyblock genre. In this addon, every single time you break the central block, a completely random event triggers instantly. You could be showered with diamonds, or a charged creeper could spawn directly on top of your head. This is the initial version one release, and I have fully unlocked every single feature for you. There are no locked event tiers and absolutely no hidden paywalls. It is pure, unpredictable chaos right from the moment you generate the world.
The Four Tiers of Chaos
I designed the random event engine to be completely unpredictable, featuring over 48 distinct events sorted into four main categories. The most common are the Blessed events, which happen about forty-five percent of the time. These are standard positive outcomes, dropping useful building materials, granting you temporary speed boosts, or giving you a quick healing touch to keep you alive.
However, forty percent of the time, you will trigger a Cursed event. This is where the game gets difficult. Breaking a block might inflict you with severe blindness and nausea, drain your hunger bar, or suddenly spawn a horde of angry zombies and cave spiders right next to you on your tiny island.
If you are lucky, you might hit the Rare tier, which drops massive jackpots of diamonds, full sets of armor, or even a Totem of Undying. But you must always be prepared for the terrifying Chaos tier. These extremely rare events are designed to destroy your base. Breaking a block might trigger a massive TNT rainstorm, strike you with six bolts of lightning, or even instantly spawn a live Wither Boss directly above your island.
The Streak and Mercy Systems
Because the events are entirely random, I had to build a balancing system so players do not get completely ruined by bad luck. The game tracks your consecutive event streaks in the background.
If you are incredibly lucky and manage to hit five or ten Blessed events in a row, the game rewards you with massive bonus drops, raining experience orbs and extra diamonds on your character. On the other hand, if you have terrible luck and somehow trigger ten Cursed events in a row, the hidden Mercy System activates. The game will automatically grant you a strong regeneration effect to save your life and guarantee that your next block break will be a Blessed event.
Customizable Settings and Progression
I understand that some players might want a more relaxed experience, while others might want absolute torture. Through the main interface, which you can access by sneaking and using a Book, you have total control over the event probabilities. You can manually adjust the percentage chances for Blessed, Cursed, Rare, and Chaos events to perfectly tailor the difficulty to your liking. If you are tired of getting blown up, you can lower the Chaos chance down to one percent.
Despite all the random events, there is still a core progression system. As you break hundreds of blocks, the central block will visually evolve through ten distinct phases, starting from basic Plains materials and slowly progressing through the Nether, the Deep Dark, and finally the End dimensions, ensuring you still get the blocks you need to build your base.
Void Protection and Statistics Tracking
Getting knocked off your island by a random explosion is incredibly annoying. To prevent unfair deaths, I included an optional Auto Teleport feature. If you get blown off the edge and fall below Y-level 100, the addon will instantly teleport you safely back to the central block.
Finally, I added a deep statistical tracking dashboard. You can open your personal profile to see exactly how many thousands of blocks you have broken, your total death count, your longest survival streak, and exactly how many events of each tier you have managed to survive over the entire lifetime of your world.

Important Installation Requirement: The highly complex background systems required to calculate percentage probabilities, track player streaks, generate structural explosions, and render the interactive settings menus rely entirely on advanced custom scripting. Therefore, you MUST go into your World Settings, navigate to the Experiments tab, and turn on the Beta APIs toggle before you load the world. Without this toggle enabled, the block breaking events will not trigger.
