Do you miss the Alpha, Beta, and other early versions of Minecraft? Ever wanted to explore forgotten biomes, encounter classic mobs, or experience content that was removed over the years? If so, this add-on is for you!

This add-on faithfully recreates many iconic biomes, classic mob variants, and nostalgic features inspired by Minecraft's earliest days. While not every biome is a perfect recreation, each has been carefully designed to capture the look and atmosphere of the original versions.

Biomes

Alpha Forest

Step back into Minecraft Alpha with the iconic neon-green grass and bright foliage that defined the game's earliest forests. Classic Alpha roses and dandelions can also be found growing throughout the biome.

Horror Alpha Forest

A darker, more unsettling version of the Alpha Forest. Thick fog blankets the landscape, creating an eerie atmosphere of isolation and mystery. Wildlife is scarce, making every journey feel unsettling.

Mushroom Forest

A forest filled with giant mushrooms and peaceful wildlife. If Old Pigman Plus is enabled, Pigman Villages can also generate here.

Classic Plains

The very first plains biome in Minecraft's history. Its simple, open landscape makes it the perfect location for building and exploration.

Indev Hell

Inspired by the classic Indev "Hell" map, this harsh world is made almost entirely of dirt with scattered trees surrounding a massive lava lake. It is permanently dark, hostile mobs spawn frequently, and no passive animals can be found.

Legacy Frozen Ocean

A recreation of the unreleased Frozen Ocean variant. Unlike modern frozen oceans, this biome has no towering icebergs, creating a vast, frozen landscape.

Savanna Plateau (Mutated)

A rare biome removed after the Caves & Cliffs: Part II update. It features vibrant vegetation, dramatic terrain, and more frequent rainfall than the standard savanna.

Beta Ocean

A nostalgic ocean inspired by Minecraft Beta, featuring sandy shores, clay deposits, dirt seafloors, and classic Beta squids.

Seasonal Forest

A removed biome from before the Adventure Update. Similar to a forest, but with fewer trees and consisting entirely of oak forests.

Rainforest

One of Minecraft's lushest removed biomes. Dense vegetation, vibrant green grass, abundant ferns, tall grass, and a much higher chance of giant oak trees create a rich tropical environment.

Shrubland

A simple biome similar to today's savanna, featuring scattered trees and open landscapes with very little vegetation.

Ice Desert

A forgotten snow-covered biome consisting of vast sand flats coated in snow, creating a unique frozen desert unlike anything found in modern Minecraft.

Tundra

The predecessor to today's Snowy Plains. This classic biome features snow-covered terrain with few trees and almost no tall grass, recreating the cold landscapes of Minecraft before the Adventure Update.
