This is a for fun challenge within minecraft. The challenge tests your ability to work with a small set of items to survive and eventually escape the underwater cage.
To win:
You need to get up out of the water and press a button on the surface. When you do your final escape time and total death count will be displayed. (you can press the button multiple times to keep seeing the score.)
The Scenario:
You start are at the bottom of an ocean of water in a glass room with blocks of dirt in it. There is a glass ceiling with a single sea lantern in the center. Below you is a bedrock floor.
There is ocean all the way up 120 or so blocks of it. There is a stone floor right outside your glass room with a little bit of kelp a few magma blocks and assorted other surprises/resources. There are a few drowned spawners too producing drowned periodically. There are other things under those spawners if you break them and dig past the stone. The walls out there are bedrock which go all the way up.
There is also a chest in the room and one outside in some iron bars in the corner of the ocean area.
Far above you are obstacles (submerged in the ocean) to make swimming out problematic. (mangrove roots, nether fortress fence and webs)
dieing is okay, but the number of deaths and total time to complete is tallied. don't feeel bad if you have to start over because you lost some precious resource, it's not easy!
