Nico's More Mineshafts is an add-on that introduces new mineshaft structures that generate naturally in your world. Each mineshaft varies in design, length, and loot. There are three types of mineshafts: oak wood mineshafts, spruce wood mineshafts, and ancient mineshafts.

TECHNICAL CHANGES:

MINESHAFT:

Reworked all mineshaft rooms and added more new pathways.
Improved custom mineshaft generation. Mineshafts are now generated using jigsaw structures.
- Full mineshafts now generate more naturally and no longer rely on random ticks to generate extension sections.
- Increased block variety in mineshafts.
- Suspicious Sand, Suspicious Gravel, and Decorated Pots in mineshafts may now contain different types of items.
- Mineshafts can now be located using the /locate command in Creative Mode with their identifier names:
  - ntk:ancient_wood_mineshaft
  - ntk:birch_wood_mineshaft
  - ntk:oak_wood_mineshaft
  - ntk:spruce_wood_mineshaft

Known Issues/Bugs

Broken Structures Generation:
- The structures may have broken or missing parts when they are generated in the world.
- Also, some structures end up colliding with other structures when they are generated in the world.

Add-on Notes

Add-on may only be compatible with Minecraft version 26.0 or higher.
This add-on is NOT using a 'player.json' file.
This add-on is mostly compatible with other add-ons.
Add-on will work on the realm or server; just make sure you install the correct files.
Add-on is not tested yet on the beta and preview versions of Minecraft, so expect some bugs if you are using those versions.
Remove the old packs before installing the new version of the packs.

Installation!

Download the 'Nicos More Mineshaft (v1.8).mcaddon', or the seperated packs (Behavior Pack & Resource Pack).
Import the packs into Minecraft and wait until the both behavior pack and resource pack are successfully imported.
Make sure to install both the behavior pack and resource pack before entering you world.
This add-on doesn't need any experimental options to toggle to on.
