Nico's Item Expansion is an add-on that focuses on adding useful, convenient, and suitable items for your survival game. It introduces more food, weapons, armor, and recipes for previously uncraftable items. Additionally, this mod adds a new crafting table, evaporator, and pots.

TECHNICAL CHANGES:

ITEMS:

Removed the Copper Scrap.
Sweet Berry Pie saturation increased from 2.8 to 8.4.

RECIPES:

Improved recipe unlocking: custom block recipes are now unlocked when any of their crafting ingredients are obtained.
Wooden Club, Dripstone Club, & Magma Club can now be crafted using any type of Planks.
Copper Evaporators can now be crafted using Copper Nuggets instead of Copper Scrap.
Jar Openers can now be crafted using Copper Nuggets instead of Copper Scrap.
Prismarine Rods can now be crafted using Copper Ingots instead of Copper Scrap in the Artifacture Table.
Added the Golden Dandelion recipes using fewer Gold Nuggets in the Artifacture Table, and can also use Gold Powder instead of Gold Nuggets.

Fixed the Blaze Spore Pot texture.

ITEMS:

Fixed an issue where the Arcane Staff and Blazing Staff would not shoot projectiles.
Fixed an issue where the Lapis Lazuli Apple did not apply status effects after consumption.
Magic Staffs can now be enchanted with Silk Touch and Efficiency, and can no longer be enchanted with Curse of Binding.
Berry Cookies:
- Reduced the duration of the Regeneration effect on Sweet Berry Cookies and the Night Vision effect on Glow Berry Cookies.
- Increased the chance for effects to apply on consumption from 5% to 10%.

RECIPES:

Removed the Copper Scrap recipe from smelting Copper Blocks or Copper items in a Blast Furnace.
Changed the Powder Staff recipe to use a Copper Nugget instead of Copper Scrap.

TECHNICAL CHANGES:

Recipes from the Artifacture Table have now also been added to the Crafting Table:

Known Issues/Bugs

Potion can fill the Jar:
- Potion can be fill the Empty Jar or the Jar of Water (Half), and turn them into water.
Stripping wood sound:
- Custom axe doesn't make a sound when stripping wood.

Magic Staffs swing animation:
- Magic Staffs no longer play the swing animation when you use them.

Can't place directly on some of the custom blocks:
- Some custom blocks always act like interactable blocks and can't place a block on them. The only way to place a block on them is when the player is sneaking.
- To help resolve this issue, please vote on the bug on Mojang: MCPE-179928

Equipment model doesn't show glints:
- Equipment model with a glowing texture doesn't glint when it has an enchantment.
- This refers to magic staffs.
- The enchantments are still applied to the equipment, but it's just don't show the glints in the model.

Non-solid custom blocks:
- Vanilla fences and walls are connected to a non-solid custom block.
- Grass block will transform into dirt when non-solid custom block is placed at the top of it.
- Some of the non-solid blocks won't break when the supporting blocks are broken.

Add-on Notes

Add-on may only be compatible with Minecraft version 26.10 or higher.
This add-on is NOT using a 'player.json' file.
This add-on is mostly compatible with other add-ons.
Add-on will work on the realm or server; just make sure you install the correct files.
Add-on is not tested yet on the beta and preview versions of Minecraft, so expect some bugs if you are using those versions.
Remove the old packs before installing the new version of the packs.

Installation!

Download the 'Nicos Item Expansion (v1.14.2).mcaddon', or the seperated packs (Behavior Pack & Resource Pack).
Import the packs into Minecraft and wait until the both behavior pack and resource pack are successfully imported.
Make sure to install both the behavior pack and resource pack before entering you world.
This add-on doesn't need any experimental options to toggle to on.
