Mod Event 2026 adds an in-game calendar to Minecraft Bedrock and turns it into a year of real-world events. Every in-game day moves the date forward, and each event unlocks its own gameplay.
How the calendar works
The date starts at 01/01/2026 the first time the pack is activated in a world.
One in-game day equals one calendar day. Every month has 30 days.
The date is shown on the action bar, and a message announces each new day.
The calendar stops at 30/12/2026.
Events
New Year (01/01): fireworks launch around players.
Valentine's Day (14/02): players standing close together heal each other.
Lunar New Year (17-18/02): killing mobs has a chance to drop a red envelope with emeralds.
Ramadan (19/02 - 18/03): eating or drinking during the day gets you struck by lightning. You can eat again at night.
Eid al-Fitr (19-20/03): claim a holiday bonus. Players who kept the fast earn extra diamonds.
April Fools (01/04): harmless random pranks.
Earth Day (22/04): plant saplings in different spots to earn rewards.
Labour Day (01/05): every 20 ores mined pays a bonus.
Children's Day (23/07): jump boost and slow falling all day.

Heroes' Day (10/11): defeat monsters and earn a reward every 15 kills.
Thanksgiving (26/11): eat near another player and everyone nearby gets Absorption.

Good to know
By default, one calendar day lasts one in-game day (20 real minutes), so a full year takes around 120 hours of play. Use the date command to jump ahead.
Valentine's Day and Thanksgiving need at least two players.
Rewards can be tuned in the config constants at the top of main.js.
