Description
Stop unwanted movement caused by left-stick drift
Fix unwanted player movement caused by controller drift in Minecraft Bedrock on iPad and supported mobile devices. This behavior pack applies a 0.15 deadzone to minor left analog stick input while using a gamepad.
Features
・Automatically activates when gamepad input is detected on a mobile device
・Filters minor left-stick input below a 0.15 deadzone
・Helps prevent the player from slowly moving when the stick is released
・Automatically restores normal movement when intentional stick input is detected
・Displays a message when correction starts, stops for safety, or resumes
・Can resume without leaving the world
・Does not affect jumping, attacking, item use, or camera controls
Installation
1.Download and open the .mcpack file with Minecraft.
2.Edit the world where you want to use the pack.
3.Open Behavior Packs and activate this pack.
4.Enter the world and use your gamepad.
5.The correction will start automatically when supported input is detected.
Backing up your world before installing any behavior pack is recommended.
If correction stops
A built-in safety system may temporarily stop correction if stable input values cannot be detected.
To restart it without leaving the world:
1.Tap the screen once to switch to touch input.
2.Use the gamepad again.
A message will appear when correction resumes.
Compatibility
・Designed for Minecraft Bedrock Edition on mobile devices
・Tested on iPad with a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller
・Other mobile devices and gamepads may work but have not yet been verified
・Applies to the left analog stick only
Limitations
This pack cannot repair a physically damaged controller and does not change the controller’s system-level calibration.
Very small intentional movements below the 0.15 deadzone are filtered. The right analog stick is not corrected because the required raw camera-stick input is not currently available through the stable Minecraft Bedrock Script API.
Compatibility reports are welcome. Please include your mobile device, operating system version, Minecraft version, controller model, and whether the correction worked.
