Mob Live Health Bar

This add-on puts a live health bar (red hearts plus a number like `14/20 HP`) above every mob's head in Minecraft Bedrock. It updates twice a second by rewriting each mob's name tag, which means it will overwrite any custom names. The code looks clean.

Mob Live Health Bar

See every mob's health at a glance. This add-on shows a live heart bar and an HP number above each mob's head, so you always know how a fight is going.

Features

• Live heart bar above every mob: red for full hearts, gold for a half heart, gray for empty

• Exact HP shown as a number, like 14/20 HP

• Updates twice per second, in the Overworld, Nether End

• High-health mobs such as the Warden scale down to a readable 10-heart bar

• Players are not labeled, only mobs

Requirements

• Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.60 or newer

• No other packs or dependencies needed

Installation

  1. Download the .mcpack file and open it to import it into Minecraft.
  2. Create a world, or edit an existing one, and enable the behavior pack under Behavior Packs.
  3. Load the world. A confirmation message will appear in chat.

Notes

• The bar is shown by setting each mob's name tag so it will replace custom names given with name tags.

• On servers or worlds with a very large number of entities, constant updates may affect performance.
