Craft your apples

Place one common apple in the center of a crafting table and surround it with eight matching materials to craft one special apple:
- Iron: 8 iron ingots.
- Copper: 8 copper ingots.
- Redstone: 8 redstone dust.
- Lapis: 8 lapis lazuli.
- Diamond: 8 diamonds.
- Emerald: 8 emeralds.
- Netherite: 8 netherite ingots.
All 18 recipes are unlocked from the start: 8 apples, 9 saplings and the Orchard Harvester. If recipes are hidden while you lack ingredients, turn off the recipe book's craftable-only filter.
Rainbow Apple and matching saplings

Rainbow Apple: combine one Iron, Copper, Redstone, Lapis, Diamond, Emerald and Netherite Apple with one golden apple and one common apple. This is a shapeless crafting-table recipe: ingredient order does not matter. It produces one Rainbow Apple.
Any apple sapling: combine one special apple + one vanilla oak sapling at a crafting table. You receive one sapling matching that apple, including Rainbow!
Common Apple Tree
Grow a renewable supply of regular vanilla apples! Combine one regular apple + one vanilla oak sapling in a shapeless crafting-table recipe to obtain the Common Apple Sapling. Plant and harvest it like the special varieties. Its fruit regrows in roughly 60–75 seconds while the area is loaded.
The Common Apple Tree is obtained through crafting; it is not added to natural world generation in this version. The eight special tree varieties retain their existing generation settings.
Where do the trees generate?

Natural generation is configured for plains and forest biomes in the Overworld. Each variety has its own colored leaves and matching fruit. Netherite and Rainbow trees are the rarest; Netherite trees are configured for the Overworld, rather than the Nether.
Existing worlds: explore terrain that has not been generated yet, or create a new world with both addon packs enabled. Trees are not added retroactively to chunks you have already generated. Placement depends on available space and terrain; not every eligible chunk will contain a tree.
Natural generation uses a 7% placement attempt chance per eligible chunk. Terrain and available space can prevent placement.
Grow a renewable orchard
- Craft a matching apple sapling.
- Plant it on a supported dirt or grass block.
- Leave a clear 5 × 6 × 5 space around the sapling.
- Use bone meal for immediate growth, or wait for natural growth while the area is loaded.
- Interact with a ripe leaf block to harvest one apple.
- Fruit regrows while the area is loaded. Bone meal can also ripen an empty leaf block.
Regrowth intervals increase with apple type, from roughly 1–1.25 minutes for Iron to 8–10 minutes for Rainbow. Breaking apple leaves has a 15% chance to drop a matching sapling. Harvest before breaking the leaves! Custom leaves do not currently decay automatically.
New in 1.4.0 — Orchard Harvester

Plant your trees in rows and automate your orchard! The Orchard Harvester collects ripe fruit from all 9 addon tree varieties and transfers the apples directly into an adjacent chest. No hopper is required. Its new machine texture combines wood panels, iron trim and an apple emblem.
- Collection area: 49 × 49 blocks, centered on the machine — 24 blocks in each horizontal direction plus the center column.
- Vertical reach: ripe addon leaves from 1 to 12 blocks above the machine.
- Visible range: interact with the machine to display the collection boundary with particles for six seconds.
- Storage: place a normal chest or trapped chest directly against the machine. Side placement is recommended. A chest immediately above or below also works as an output.
- Renewable harvesting: the machine collects fruit without breaking leaves. Existing fruit regrowth timers remain unchanged.
- Full output: fruit stays on the tree if the connected storage cannot accept that apple. Without an output container, the machine does not harvest.
- Loaded areas only: scanning happens gradually. Keep the orchard loaded; the machine does not load chunks or harvest the entire area instantly.
Harvester crafting recipe and installation

Use the following arrangement at a crafting table:
| Iron Ingot | Oak Planks | Iron Ingot |
| Regular Apple | Chest | Regular Apple |
| Iron Ingot | Oak Planks | Iron Ingot |
Total: 4 iron ingots + 2 oak planks + 2 regular apples + 1 chest → 1 Orchard Harvester. The recipe is unlocked from the start.
- Place the harvester near the center of your tree rows, at orchard ground level.
- Place another chest directly against the machine to store the harvest. The chest used in the recipe is consumed during crafting and is not the output storage.
- Interact with the harvester to check the marked area and the connected-chest message.
- Keep your trees' leaves inside the collection volume and allow time for the gradual scan.
Older setups with a hopper directly beneath the machine remain an optional fallback when no chest is directly connected. You do not need a hopper for the new chest setup or the updated crafting recipe.
Orchard Fox retirement: the helper has been removed from normal use in 1.4.0. Existing loaded helpers are retired by a migration routine that attempts to return carried apples to the original chest, drops any remainder nearby, then removes the helper. Back up your world before updating.
Installation and compatibility
- Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.21.100 or newer, with support for the stable @minecraft/server 2.0.0 module.
- Import the .mcaddon file and activate both the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack.
- No experimental toggles are required by the pack configuration.
- Dedicated identifiers and UUIDs reduce addon conflicts. Vanilla items and UI are not replaced. Compatibility with every third-party addon is not guaranteed.
- Languages: English, Portuguese (Brazil/Portugal) and Spanish (Spain/Mexico).
Testing status: version 1.4.0 has passed static checks and simulated logic tests, but has not been tested inside Minecraft. Test in a copy of your world before updating an existing survival save.
