♬ What this addon does

Minstrel's Saga brings a complete RPG class to your Minecraft Bedrock: the Minstrel. But here, music isn't just art—it's a lethal weapon and a powerful support tool.

This addon introduces a progressive Musical Mastery system, where you must play instruments, learn songs, manage cooldowns, and evolve your skills from Tier 1 to Tier 5, further upgrading your songs and learning stronger ones.

♬ The 3 schools of music

Choose your favorite instrument and define your playstyle. There are three distinct categories, each with unique focuses and strategies:

Ricorso - Damage & Chaos

♪ For those who want to take down foes with dissonance. The Ricorso school focuses on aggressive songs to inflict damage effectively and widely on your enemies. 

♪ Instrument: Lyre.

Giudico - Control & Advantage

♪ For those who enjoys harassing their enemies and controlling the situation. The Giudico school relies mostly on control songs to nerf your enemies and prevent their actions.  

♪ Instrument: Ocarina.

Benedetto - Support & Healing

♪ For those who born to help their allies... or are just lazy to fight. The Benedetto school uses positive frequencies to strengthen, heal and protect allies, be them other players or your pet.

♬ Progressing through the musical path

This isn't just an item that plays a sound. It's a living system.

♪ Mastery (Tiers 1-5): Start as an apprentice. The more you use songs, the more Musical XP you gain.

♪ Power Evolution: A Tier 1 song played by a Tier 5 master is much stronger. Your cooldowns decrease, and effect potency increases as your mastery grows.

♪ Random Learning: When you accumulate enough XP, the system "inspires" you with a random new song based on your level. You can learn songs from your current tier or below. 

♪ Memory Management: You can only memorize 3 songs per instrument. Choose your repertory wisely!

♪ Specialization: Upon reaching Level 4, you specialize in your favorite instrument. All other instruments will be capped at level 3 and only your favorite one can reach level 5. 

♬ How to start

Create your instruments at the Crafting Table (Recipes also available in the in-game Guide). You're also the Luthier here!

Craft the Rattle to access various utility songs, like teleportation features, item collection and many more.

This item below is pretty important. With it, you can mark nearby creatures as allies, so your music won't damage or control them. It is also needed for your healing/buff songs to work. 

You can craft one using coal.

♬ Installation

1. Download the .mcaddon file.

2. Open it to automatically import it into Minecraft Bedrock.

3. Enable the Behavior and Resource Packs in your world settings.

4. Important: Make sure to enable "Beta APIs" in the world experiments/settings.

5. Be a legendary bard!
