Mining Progression

Mining Progression is a Minecraft Bedrock mining add-on where each pickaxe levels up separately. When players mine natural stone, ores, and underground blocks, the pickaxe they are holding earns Mining XP. That XP can be spent in the Mining Menu to upgrade that specific pickaxe.

Players open the Mining Menu by crouching and using/right-clicking with a pickaxe. The menu shows the pickaxe’s Mining Level, spendable XP, total XP earned, and all upgrade levels.

Upgrades include:

• Mining Speed, up to 2.5x
• Durability, up to 5x
• Block Multiplier, up to 5x
• Auto-Smelt, toggleable on/off
• Vein Miner, toggleable on/off
• Mining XP Boost, up to 5x
• Player XP Boost, up to 5x

Auto-Smelt works when mining smeltable blocks with a pickaxe, turning drops like raw ores into ingots when enabled. Vein Miner works on ores and mines connected ore blocks, including diagonal connections. Fortune, Mending, and Unbreaking are supported.

The Mining Bag stores mined items automatically when Auto-Store is enabled. It can be opened with use/right-click, toggled on or off, and can withdraw all items that fit into the player’s inventory.

The mod also tracks player-placed blocks, so players only gain Mining XP and block multiplier rewards from naturally generated blocks. It has multiplayer and Realms safety improvements to reduce duplicate mining, inventory issues, and player state problems.
