Whats up guys Racing Raftaar here back with another add-on. I have been playing survival minecraft for a very long time and there is one thing that always annoys me. Mining is just too boring. You just go to y level negative 58 and hold left click on deepslate for hours. It gets super repetitive and sometimes you dont even find anything good. I wanted to add some excitement to mining so it feels like you are playing a casino or opening lucky blocks. So I made the RR Mining Fortune addon. This pack completely changes how ores work in the game. It makes every single ore you break a potential jackpot and adds a full RPG leveling system to your mining sessions.
The Lucky Strike System
So the main feature of this pack is the lucky strikes. When you are mining any ore like coal, iron, gold or diamonds there is a random chance for a lucky strike to happen. There are five different tiers of luck. You have a 30 percent chance to get Double ores which is pretty common. Then there is Triple ores at 10 percent. But if you get really lucky you can hit a Jackpot which multiplies your drops by 5 times. Then there is Legendary which is 10 times. And the absolute craziest one is the Motherlode. It only has a 0.5 percent chance of happening but it multiplies your drops by 20 times! Imagine finding one diamond ore block and suddenly 20 diamonds pop out with a massive totem sound and a title on your screen. It is literally the most satisfying feeling ever and it makes strip mining so addictive because you always want to hit that motherlode. If you hit a legendary or motherlode it even announces it to the whole server in the chat so everyone knows you got rich.
Leveling Up and Ranks
I didnt want to just stop at random drops so I added a full progression system. Every time you break an ore you gain mining XP in the background. Coal gives you 1 xp point but harder ores like diamonds give 10 points and ancient debris gives 20 points. As you collect this xp you will actually level up. You start as a Novice Miner but as you grind you rank up to Apprentice, Expert, Master and finally Legendary Miner at level 100. Whenever you level up or reach a new rank the game plays a level up sound and shows your new title. It gives you a real reason to keep mining even if you already have enough resources.
Mining Streaks
To make things even more challenging I added a streak multiplier. If you mine ores back to back you build up a current streak. When your streak hits 10 you get a 10 percent bonus to your xp. If you reach a 100 block ore streak you get a massive 100 percent double xp bonus and a legendary title. But there is a catch. If you accidentally break a normal stone block, deepslate or dirt while you are on a streak, your streak instantly resets back to zero. You will hear an anvil breaking sound and a message telling you that you lost your streak. So you have to be really careful when you are mining out a huge vein of iron or coal to not hit the stone around it.
UI Menu and Server Leaderboard
I know you guys love checking your stats so i added a custom UI menu for this addon. All you have to do is hold a normal book in your hand and sneak. This opens the Mining Fortune menu. Here you can see exactly what your current level is, how much xp you need for the next level, and your total blocks broken. It also tracks how many jackpots you have hit and your best streak. If you are playing on a multiplayer realm there is a live Leaderboard tab inside the book. It shows the top 10 miners on the server based on their level and blocks broken. It makes it super competitive because everyone wants to be the number one legendary miner.
Easter Eggs and World Events
I love adding hidden things to my packs so there are a bunch of easter eggs in this one. If you hit specific numbers of total blocks mined like 69, 420, 666 or 1337 the game will send you a funny secret message in the chat and play a sound. Also there is a random world event that can happen. Every few minutes there is a 5 percent chance for a Fortune Event to trigger. The whole server gets a message saying the mines are blessed and the lucky strike chances are doubled for two whole minutes. When this happens you literally have to drop everything and rush to a cave to mine as many ores as possible.
Beta APIs Setup
Just a reminder that you absolutely have to turn on the Beta APIs experiment in your world settings before you play. This pack uses dynamic properties to save your individual xp, levels and streaks permanently. It also uses background scripts for the custom book menu and the lucky drop math. If you forget to enable it nothing will work and ores will just drop normally so please check your world settings first.
