This addon aims to add new metals in fun ways! 

 

At the moment the addon has 14 metals 

Here is a quick resume of each one of them, and some other mechanics:

 

NOTE: this addon is pretty much finished so don't expect any more metals or updates

 

VANILLA CHANGES: 

 

regular diamond ores no longer generate, instead they now are replaced by rough diamond ores, which drop rough diamonds which can only be smelted in a blast furnaces, this change was made so players don't rush diamond gear

 

FLINT:

 

You can now make a flint toolset, which doesn't have much durability.

 

STEEL:

 

Steel is the most basic metal in the addon with steel you can make the metallurgy table, which is used for making most of the armor sets and items you can also make an hammer with it.

 

PYRITE:

 

pyrite is a metal/crystal found above 0 y level as pyrite are perfect cubes when mined they will drop themselves, they can be used to make the pyrite idol which looks exactly like the totem of undying as well as some building blocks.

 

BISMUTH:

 

Bismuth is a crystal/metal found in geodes in the overworld, it can be used to make 1 way mirrors and some candy

You will need to make the bismuth alloy to make most of these

 

BRONZE:

 

Bronze is an alloy made out of raw iron and raw copper, it can be made into tools and armor, which are slightly better than iron.

 

LEAD:

 

Lead is a highly explosive related metal, some might even say that is the cause of spontaneous combustion, it can make the Combustion table, which can make the landmine and the explosive belt, both used to blow up yourself, or your enemies...

 

TITANIUM:

 

Titanium is a strong metal used for cirurgion tools, as well as a new shield.

 

COBALT:

 

Cobalt is a metal that can be made into blue dye, and is also used to make the item magnet

 

MAGNETITE:

 

As it's name magnetite is a highly magnetic metal, used to make the item magnet

 

TIN:

 

Tin is a metal that can only be found in calcite in cold biomes, it can be used to make large arrows, which pierce trough enemies and the pewter alloy.

 

PEWTER:

 

Pewter is a alloy made out of tin, bismuth and lead, it's used to make the pewter Bow, arrow and the flint and Pewt, which poison nearby foes.

 

CHROMIUM:

 

Chromium is a good energy catalyzer used to make most adamantite items and blocks.

 

ADAMANTITE:

 

Adamantite is a highly energized crystal, which when used with Chromium can craft powerful blocks and items, such as the EMP which deals damage to nearby foes overtime, and the energy blade, which gives speed and strength to the user if one has a cinnabar crystal in the inventory.

 

HEAVY METAL:

 

Heavy wind is the strongest metal in the addon, it can be made by smelting a heavy core in a blast furnace, after that you will get the molten core, which can be combined with steel and wind charges, to make the heavy metal alloy, you can upgrade your tools and armor with the heavy wind upgrade, made in the metallurgy table, on wearing the full set of armor you will receive resistence and slowness.
