Medieval Weapons Addon

A dark fantasy arsenal for Minecraft Bedrock Edition. 28 unique daggers, spears, swords, and blunt weapons — each with its own combat effect, balanced damage tier, and full smithing table crafting support.

Overview

Medieval Weapons Addon expands Minecraft's combat with a curated collection of hand-crafted, lore-driven weapons inspired by medieval Europe, fallen legions, and cursed relics. Every weapon is more than a reskinned sword — it carries a unique on-hit effect, a distinct damage tier above Netherite, and flavor text that hints at its origin, so each one feels like a genuine upgrade worth hunting down.

Built entirely with vanilla-compatible items, recipes, and the official @minecraft/server scripting API, the addon is lightweight, survival-friendly, and safe to run alongside other add-ons.

Features

  • 28 unique weapons across four weapon families: daggers, spears, straight swords, and blunt weapons (hammers/clubs).
  • On-hit combat effects — every weapon inflicts a status effect or elemental damage when it lands a hit: Poison, Wither, Weakness, Slowness, Blindness, Nausea, Glowing, or Fire, each tuned in potency and duration to match the weapon's tier.
  • Balanced, above-Netherite damage — every weapon deals more damage than a Netherite Sword, scaled by rarity and effect strength, so they're a meaningful mid-to-late-game progression goal.
  • Smithing Table crafting — weapons are forged using the Smithing Table (template + base material + addition), just like Netherite upgrades, complete with recipe book / crafting suggestions so players can discover recipes naturally.
  • Readable item descriptions — each weapon's tooltip shows its special effect right in the item name, visible even before it's picked up (including in the Creative inventory search), so players always know what they're looking at.
  • Full durability & repair support — every weapon can be repaired at an anvil with the appropriate material.
  • Survival & Creative ready — all items are tagged and categorized correctly for the Creative inventory and work seamlessly in Survival worlds.
