MCPE Advancements

​Whats up guys Racing Raftaar here. Today i am bringing you the final fixed version of one of my biggest and most requested projects ever. If you play minecraft bedrock edition you already know the biggest problem we have compared to the java edition of the game. We dont have a real advancements system. We just have those basic xbox achievements that you can only do once per account and they dont even pop up in the world properly for your friends to see. It makes survival mode feel a bit empty and boring because you dont have any real goals to complete while playing on a realm. I really wanted that java edition feeling where you get a cool popup and a sound when you mine your first diamond or enter the nether. So i spent a lot of time coding the MCBE Advancements addon version 2.3 and making sure there are absolutely zero errors so it runs perfectly on your worlds.

​The Advancement System

​Let me explain how this entire system works in your game. I have manually coded exactly 55 unique advancements for you to complete. They are divided into five different categories just like the original game. You have the basic Minecraft category for things like mining stone, crafting a crafting table, and getting an upgrade to a stone or iron pickaxe. Then you have the Nether category for entering bastions, mining ancient debris, crafting netherite and killing piglin brutes. There is the End category for killing the ender dragon and finding shulkers to get their shells. Then the Adventure category which is absolutely huge. It tracks if you trade with villagers, complete a village raid, snipe a skeleton from far away, or visit 10 different biomes. And finally I added a Secret category which has hidden advancements that I wont completely spoil for you right now.

​Milestone Rewards

​I wanted to make this addon even better than java edition so i added actual physical rewards for completing your advancements. When you unlock 5 advancements the game automatically gives you 5 bread to help you survive early on. When you hit 10 advancements you get a golden apple. At 20 advancements you get a free diamond. At 35 you get 3 diamonds. When you are super close and hit 50 advancements the game rewards you with 2 netherite scraps. And if you are an absolute legend and complete all 55 advancements in the game, it broadcasts your name to the entire server and gives you 3 whole netherite ingots. It makes grinding for advancements so much more rewarding because you actually get paid for your hard work.

​Stats Tracking and UI Menu

​Because i love stats i made sure this addon tracks everything you do in your survival world. The game constantly runs in the background tracking how many blocks you mine, how many items you craft, how many things you smelt in a furnace, and your total lifetime kills and deaths. To see all this you just have to hold a normal Book in your hand and sneak. This opens the main UI menu. In this menu you can see your total score out of 55 and click on every single category to see exactly which advancements you have finished and which ones are still locked. You can also toggle a live HUD scoreboard from this menu. If you turn it on it puts an action bar on your screen showing your live kills, mined blocks, and advancement progress while you are running around exploring.

​Easter Eggs and Secrets

​I also added some really funny easter eggs for my old subscribers. Since the game tracks your deaths and kills, if you manage to die exactly 69 times you get a secret advancement called Nice. And if you get exactly 420 kills the game sends you a special message in the chat. There are also secret advancements for falling from Y level 200 and surviving, placing a birthday cake, and riding a strider in the nether. I also made a custom death screen so when you die it prints out your total kills, deaths, and advancements in the chat to remind you of your progress before you respawn. Oh and if you mine 999 blocks the game gives you a funny little warning.

​Beta APIs Setup

​I coded this using the safe 1.9.0 API so there are zero errors and it is very stable on multiplayer realms. But because it tracks player movement for the biome distance and uses dynamic properties to save your exact advancement progress forever, you absolutely must turn on the Beta APIs experiment in your world settings. If you forget to enable it the book menu will not open and the blocks you mine will not track anything.

​The main thumbnail and the gallery screenshots were enhanced using ai image generators. I use ai to make the visual presentation look very clean and cinematic for my add-on.
