Changelog: Marvel & DC Superheroes v8.3.0 (The Legacy & Reputation Update)

Welcome to Version 8.3.0! The superhero RPG mechanics have evolved. We wanted actions to have consequences and dedication to have serious bragging rights. This update introduces a full Karma system, unlockable Chat Titles, massive Weekly Contracts, and an expanded Talent Tree!

What's New in v8.3.0:

  • Dynamic Reputation System (Karma): Your actions now shape your destiny!
    • Slaying evil monsters grants you positive Reputation, pushing you towards ranks like Savior and Paragon.
    • Slaying players or innocent villagers drains your Reputation, branding you as a Rogue, Villain, or even a World Threat!
    • Your current Reputation Rank dictates a unique prefix color in global chat!
  • Unlockable Chat Titles: Reaching milestones (like Level 50, killing 1,000 mobs, or reaching the Paragon rep rank) now automatically unlocks epic chat titles! Open the new "Chat Titles" menu in the Hub to equip titles like , , or .
  • New System: Weekly Contracts!
    • The Hero Quests board has been expanded! Alongside your 3 Daily Quests, you now receive 3 Weekly Contracts.
    • These are massive grinds (e.g., Slay 5 Bosses, Mine 1,000 Ores, Defeat 500 Hostiles) that reward gigantic payouts of 10,000+ XP and 10+ Prestige Tokens upon completion!
  • Massive Talent Expansion: Spend your TP on 5 brand new advanced talents:
    • Juggernaut: Drastically boosts Max HP, but applies minor Slowness.
    • Acrobat: Makes you completely immune to fall damage.
    • Scavenger: Gives you a chance to extract free Magic XP just by breaking regular blocks!
    • Brawler: Significantly increases your damage when fighting unarmed!
    • Swift Striker: Permanently grants Haste II.
  • Expanded Aura Shop: Added 5 new Auras (Tornado, Obsidian, Amethyst, Ocean, Emerald) to purchase with Prestige Tokens! no custom effects
  • Admin Hub Updates: Admins can now manually edit a player's Reputation score, and a new button has been added to instantly force-refresh all Daily/Weekly quests for the entire server!
