Lynx Simple Dynamic Light brings true dynamic lighting to Minecraft Bedrock — no more standing in the dark just because you're holding a torch instead of placing it! Any supported light source held in your main hand or off-hand will now actually light up the world around you, in real time, with zero setup required.

• 71 light-emitting items supported — from torches and lanterns to candles, froglights, and rare drops like Nether Stars and Totems of Undying.
• Off-hand ready — hold a light source in your off-hand while wielding a weapon or tool in your main hand, and still get full illumination. Craft the off-hand versions of your favorite light items directly at a crafting table.
• Smart light switching — the addon automatically uses whichever hand is holding the brighter light source, so you're never in the dark.
• Stable performance — built entirely on the official @minecraft/server Script API, with lightweight per-tick checks and no unnecessary lag.
• Vibrant Visuals compatible — the resource pack uses vanilla item textures only, so it stays compatible with Bedrock's Vibrant Visuals rendering.
• Simple, clean crafting recipes — every off-hand light item has an intuitive 1:1 (or close) crafting recipe using its vanilla counterpart, so there's nothing new to learn.

📦 Installation

1. Download the .mcaddon file.
2. Open it with Minecraft Bedrock installed — both packs will import automatically.
3. Create or edit a world, then enable both:
   • Lynx Simple Dynamic Light (Behavior Pack)
   • Lynx Simple Dynamic Light Resources (Resource Pack)
4. Load in and start crafting off-hand light sources at any crafting table!

🛠️ How It Works

Simply hold a supported light source in either hand. The addon checks your main hand and off-hand every tick and automatically emits light at the correct level based on whichever item you're holding — matching vanilla light levels as closely as possible. No commands, no configuration, just pick up a torch and go.
