Log & Vein Miner
Version 1.0.0
Author:davex223
Tested on:Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.44.3
- Merged Log Miner and Vein Miner into one pack.
Log Miner (axe)
- Chopping one log fells the whole tree: every connected log plus all its leaves.
- Saplings, sticks and apples drop like normal. Silk Touch makes leaves drop as blocks.
- Works on all overworld trees, mangrove roots and nether huge fungi.
- The tree falls from the top down, a few dozen blocks per tick.
- Each extra log costs axe durability (Unbreaking helps), and leaves are free.
- Log cabins and pillars with no natural leaves are left alone. Player-placed leaves are never touched.
Vein Miner (pickaxe)
- Mining one ore breaks the whole connected vein.
- Raw iron, gold, copper and ancient debris auto-smelt into ingots and scrap.
- Silk Touch overrides auto-smelt, so you still collect the ore blocks themselves.
- Fortune is supported, and each extra block costs durability.
Safety
- Tools never break from a chop or vein. They stop at 1 durability left.
- Survival and adventure mode only.
- Toggle per player with `/tag @s add logminer_off` or `/tag @s add veinminer_off`. Use `remove` to turn them back on.
Known notes
- Leaves touching a neighboring tree's leaves can come down too.
- Fortune doesn't boost sapling chance.
- Not tested in multiplayer. Singleplayer only so far.
