Lilium Iron Chests V1.4.1.mcaddon
What's new
Changelog - Lilium Iron Chests
[1.4.1]
Fixed
- Items Lost During an Upgrade: An upgrade copied the chest's contents into memory, removed the old chest, and then retried filling the new one for up to 40 ticks. If the new chest was broken in that window or the retries ran out, the contents were silently discarded. They now spill on the ground in both cases, and if the chunk unloads mid-upgrade the fill waits for it to load again instead of giving up. Items that land on an occupied slot are added elsewhere in the chest, and anything that does not fit is dropped.
- Upgrade Kit Consumed Without Upgrading: The kit was taken from the player even when the upgrade aborted, for example because the chest had already changed. It is now consumed only after the upgrade succeeds.
- Items Lost When a Drop Failed: Breaking a chest, or cleaning up an orphaned inventory, removed the inventory entity even if some of its items could not be spawned, so those items vanished despite the drop helper keeping them in their slots. The entity is now kept until every item has been dropped, and the orphan cleanup retries it.
- Unloaded Chunks Treated as Missing Chests:
getBlock()returnsundefinedfor a location in an unloaded chunk, not only when it throws. The orphan cleanup tookundefinedto mean the chest was gone, which could empty a chest sitting on a half-loaded chunk. An unreadable block is now treated as unknown and left alone. - Pistons Split Chests From Their Contents: A piston could push the chest block but not its entities, so the contents spilled where the chest used to be and the moved block was left invisible and empty. Every chest block is now immovable.
- Block Sounds Never Applied:
RP/blocks.jsonkeyed its entries without thelic:namespace, so none of them reached the chests, and thecopper_chestentry overrode the sound of the vanillaminecraft:copper_chest. The entries are now namespaced and use valid sound types:metalfor iron, gold and diamond, copper, stonefor obsidian andgravelfor dirt. - Chests Blocked Light: Custom blocks default to a
minecraft:light_dampeningof 15, so every chest blocked light completely and cast a shadow around it. Chests now let light through. - Chest Unopenable After a Restart: A chest whose collision was switched off when the world was saved stayed without collision, and therefore could not be opened, until somebody sneaked. Collision is now restored when the chest loads.
- Lid Stuck Open After a Restart: A chest saved while open kept its lid raised after the world reloaded. The lid now closes when the chest loads.
- Adjacent Single Chests Refused to Upgrade: Any vanilla chest next to the target was treated as the other half of a double chest. Only a chest beside it, facing the same way, counts now.
Changed
- Blocks Use Custom Components v2: The six chest blocks moved from
format_version1.21.0 to 1.26.0, whichminecraft:movableneeds. Their custom components are now declared aslic:<type>_chest_componentkeys instead of the deprecatedminecraft:custom_componentsarray. The component names and the script that registers them are unchanged. - Languages: Added Japanese (
ja_JP) and Turkish (tr_TR). Removeden_UD,es_AR,hy_AMandkk_KZ, which are Java Edition locales that Bedrock never loads. - Type Checking:
jsconfig.jsonno longer usesmoduleResolution: "node", which TypeScript 7 removed, andnpm run checktype-checksBP/scripts/. - Shared Chest Screen:
RP/ui/chest_screen.jsonanddocs/shared-chest_screen.jsonare synchronized again with Lilium Backpacks 1.3.1, which knows all 102 backpack variants. With Iron Chests at a higher priority, dyed upgraded backpacks used to open the generic chest screen.
Optimized
- Sneak Collision Without World Scans: While anyone was sneaking, the collision toggle walked every chest inventory in all three dimensions every two ticks. It now checks only the chest each sneaking player is looking at and keeps track of the chests it switched off.
Removed
- The unused
animation.lic.chest.rotationanimation andgeometry.model_chest_entitymodel.
