Likez Better trees

Likez Better Trees improves tree cutting while keeping the experience close to vanilla gameplay.

Cutting the base of a tree with an axe calculates the connected trunk and lets you fell the entire tree through a single committed cut. Larger trees still take longer to break, better tools and enchantments still matter, and the final result feels integrated with normal block breaking instead of behaving like an instant command.

Logs fall in a short cascading sequence with wood particles and natural sounds, while leaves decay in waves with their own particles and subtle audio feedback.

Saplings dropped from felled trees can automatically find a suitable nearby location and replant themselves. The system searches a wider area when necessary while respecting existing trees and available growing space.

The addon includes special handling for irregular and 2×2 trees such as Dark Oak, supports current vanilla tree types including Poplar, and avoids interfering with unknown addon content whenever its behavior cannot be determined safely.
