Description
Kinetica — Physics & Machines for Bedrock
Your builds are no longer frozen in place. Tap any structure with the Physics Wand and it comes alive: it falls, floats, gets pushed around — and with the right machines, it drives, sails, dives and flies.
Kinetica brings Create-style contraptions to Minecraft Bedrock. Build a car, a helicopter, a submarine, a drawbridge or a two-stage rocket out of ordinary blocks, power it up, and take it for a ride. No experimental toggles needed.
⚙️ Bring any build to life
- Physics Wand — tap a block to start a build, sneak-tap to grab a whole structure. Anything you place against it joins automatically.
- Real weight — every block has mass. Heavy builds fall harder, slide less and need more power to move.
- Buoyancy — hollow hulls float, solid stone sinks. Ballast tanks let submarines dive and surface.
- Ride along — players and mobs standing on a moving build travel with it.
- Smooth motion — builds glide instead of jumping block by block, and ships rock on the waves.
🔥 Power everything
Hand cranks, sails, windmills, water wheels, solar panels, heat engines, coal engines, blaze engines, steam engines with multiple fireboxes, energy crystals and five sizes of batteries. Carry the rotation along shafts and gearboxes, and use cogwheels to trade speed for force.
🚗 Drive, sail and fly
- Wheels for cars and trucks that climb one-block ledges
- Lift propellers for helicopters and drones
- Thrust fans and wings for planes and gliders
- Ship screws and rudders for boats and warships
- Hot-air balloon envelopes that rise as the air heats up
- Rocket motors and stage separators for multi-stage rockets
- Pilot seat — WASD to drive, jump and sneak to climb and descend
🏗️ Build working machines
- Mechanical bearings — drawbridges, gates and swinging arms, driven by a lever
- Winch with hook — cranes and elevators. The hook latches onto a hitch and lifts it smoothly
- Electromagnet — picks up anything made of iron
- Tow hitch — trucks with trailers, trains of wagons, tugboats with barges
- Drill and crusher — dig through terrain and grind ores
- Radio receiver & remote — drive your build from outside it, or switch machines in groups
💥 Go to war (if you want to)
Cannons with a gunner seat, aimed by looking. Torpedo tubes, sea mines, radar that shows other builds nearby, and a camera for remote-controlled scout drones.
📖 An in-game guide in 13 languages
Every player gets the Kinetica Guide book on their first join. It explains everything with pictures: where to find the new ores, what every block does, and every recipe drawn as a crafting grid, plus step-by-step ready-made builds. Pick your language right in the book: English, Русский, Українська, Deutsch, Français, Español, Português (Brasil), Italiano, Polski, Türkçe, 简体中文, 日本語 or 한국어. All messages of the add-on follow your choice.
⛏️ New ores and materials
Tin and magnetite ores appear underground, including deepslate variants. Mix copper and tin into bronze, the metal most machines are made of.
🛠️ Installation
- Download the
.mcaddonfile and open it (on a phone: tap it and choose Minecraft). Minecraft imports it. - In your world settings, enable Kinetica in both Behavior Packs and Resource Packs.
- That's it: no experimental toggles needed. Works on phones and PC.
Requires Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.100 or newer.
ℹ️ Good to know
- This is an early version (0.9) under active development. Some features have only been checked in automated tests so far. Bug reports and screenshots are very welcome!
- A build can contain up to 600 blocks. Very large builds may slow down on phones.
- Builds stop when they hit something; they don't crash into each other.
