This add-on will add different types of crates that generate naturally in your world. By using keys and other equipment, you can unlock the crates to obtain random loot, ranging from low-tier to high-tier items.

"General"

  • Updated for compatibility with Minecraft version 1.21.80.

"New Additional" 

ITEMS:

  • Added the Learning Book of Crates Trading, which can be obtained by trading with a Crates Trader. Holding it will attract the Crates Trader, and giving it on them will change them into either a Wandering or Dwelling Crates Trader.

 "Changes"

MOBS:

  • Crates Trader:
    • There are now two versions of the Crates Trader: Wandering and Dwelling.
    • Wandering Crates Trader:
      • Spawns randomly on the surface or underground in the Overworld.
      • Appears with a crate on its back.
      • Does not sleep at night.
      • Has lower trade prices and a larger trade supply compared to the Dwelling Crates Trader but cannot resupply its trades.
      • Giving a Learning Book of Crates Trading to them will transform them into a Dwelling Crates Trader.
    • Dwelling Crates Trader:
      • Only spawns inside a Crates Trader house.
      • Does not have a crate on its back.
      • Can sleep in a bed at night and can be triggered by a bell.
      • Has higher trade prices and a smaller trade supply compared to the Wandering Crates Trader but can resupply its trades by interacting with any nearby locked crates.
      • Giving a Learning Book of Crates Trading to them will transform them into a Wanderin Crates Trader.
    • Crates Traders will no longer drop emeralds and now have a 10% chance to drop a Learning Book of Crates Trading.
    • Crates Traders now have the sound of a Villager instead of a Wandering Trader.
    • Trade tables have been updated.
  • Piglin Crates Trader:
    • Trade tables have been updated.

ITEMS:

  • Fixed durability damage bugs on Flint Axe.
    • It will now lose 1 durability instead of 2 when used on inappropriate blocks.
    • It will no longer lose durability when digging certain instant-diggable blocks.
